This hotel was amazing. A little bit of luxury carved into the mountain side. Our room was enormous with high ceilings and a fireplace and couch. The bathroom was beautiful. I loved the hot water bottle with turn down! Breakfast was very good. Free wi-fi always nice. The location is great just about 5 minutes walk from the train station.... More

We were lucky enought to be booked at the Inkaterra Hotel on our visit to Machu Picchu. The grounds of the hotel are magnificent. The rooms are large, private and quiet. Our room had a fireplace and a porch out front to sit on and listen to all of the birds. We were visiting with a group of 10 people... More

Inkaterra is fabulous, such a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and activities to kep you occupied. Irish I'd had more time to pend here as I not not have enough time to enjoy all it all it has t offer. If you are spending one or 2 nits in Aguas Caliente and going to machu Pichu, then stay somewhere else.... More

Through a wonderful chain of events, we were upgraded to Inkaterra by our tour company. We kept waiting for someone to come to the door and tell us that there had been a terrible mistake. I don't think I've ever stayed at a nicer place. The room was great. The balcony looked out into the trees where we watched the... More

When we arrived by train in Aguas Calientes we weren't sure what kind of accomodation we had signed up for, and given the 1st impression of the town our expectations were lowered. As you approach and enter the property it is like entering an oassis. The rooms are spread out over the hill side and ensconced in beautiful landscaping and... More

The Inkaterra was meant to be the splurge hotel of our short Peru vacation and it absolutely delivered on these expectations. Mainly because of the beautiful setting and the high quality food. Probably some of the best food we had in the country! We had booked 2 nights to give us extra time to explore Machu Picchu but also to... More

When we told our friends that we were staying in Aguas Calientes for 4 days to acclimate to the altitude and visit Machu Picchu, they told us to avoid Aguas Calientes and to acclimate somewhere else. That might be good advice if we were staying anywhere else, but we could have stayed at Inkaterra for a week and we wouldn... More

One of the best option available near Machu Picchu (MP). Worth the price in term of service, food, activities and facilities. The staff will pick your bag from the train while you go up to MP and send it to the train on your way back so you can explore the village just before boarding without carrying your bag all... More

If you've just landed here after the Inca Trail then youve truly earned this little bit of heaven on earth. Staff are purely geared to look after you, the rooms are amazing - massive high ceilings with open fire place, private terraces, luxury bathroom, the complete opposite of a tent, up a mountain, in the cold, for the last four... Stayed here sadly only for one night in what was an amazing trip to MP. The room was pure lux (compared to many other places we had stayed). Staff were very helpful and friendly & the food excellent! We would have loved to have stayed here longer! More
