A place where one can enjoy mountains, river, and valley all in one place. Easy access to all the wonders of the Sacred Valley. I have stayed there five times and will soon go for the sixth time. A quiet, peaceful retreat. No phone in room, no TV, no internet except for emergencies or on your own phone. Great to... More

I was very disappointed with the Q'awana Lodge. It is in a beautiful location in the sacred valley and it looks nice, but it is not worth the price. For $100/night and an expensive cab ride from Cusco we were hoping this would be a little splurge after our 5-day camping trek. Instead we received a freezing cold room (they... More

Beautiful setting in the Sacred Valley. Ideal for a relaxing retreat or as a base for exploring the Valley. Rooms have views of the mountains and river. Charming rustic dining room has outdoor riverside seating with spectacular views. My husband and I were suprised by the excellent restaurant. Quiet, beautiful, peaceful. My only criticism is that I wish there were... More

A fantastic place - very pleasant and helpful manager; great views; great room; good food. Liked the fact that they are considering the environment (i.e. not daily bedding/towel wash unless requested). Only disappointment was limited hot water for bath.

We enjoyed this lodge very much. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting Machu Pichu. Initially we were going to stay in Ollanta, but were unable to find the right place. When we selected Qwana, we were a bit concerned about the distance from the lodge to the Ollanta station since we had reserved the 6.00 am train to Machu... More

Was absolutely delighted to get off the Machu Piccu tourist route and stop for a couple of nights here in the Sacred Valley in the peacefulness of its environs and great staff. Fantastic views, secluded, amazing food ... all made even better with staff like Mark, Emanuel and Percy around.

Fantastic place, finally found a great place with great staff and even greater views. Like the others say the views from the restaurant are unbelievable. The staff really looked after us and I have to say were head and shoulders above any other joint. The suite we stayed in was brilliant, super large and comfy bed sunny lounge area, and... More

Didn't know much about the place but a friend took us there. Much better than all the other joints in the sacred valley. Firstly it's much classier on so many levels. The people who run the place are excellent. So much so that as we had a small child with us we couldn't eat in the restaurant, but they brought... More

Hi Kathryn, how are you? It was a pleasure to have you at Qawana last august. We have been very busy since then, so we are finally starting with the cooking clases and the wine & pisco tasting next month. I'll put all the info in Facebook next week. Hope you are all doing well! Best regards, Marc More

This place is so wonderful it inspired me to open a trip advisor account just so I could review it! We stayed in the Family apartment, this is probably the best hotel room I've ever had. The views from the restaurant are unbelievable - you could sit here all day (and we did!). We were travelling with a baby and... More

We (a group of students & teachers) stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The rooms, bathrooms, lounge (complete with fireplace), and dining hall were very nice and comfortable. The views of the river and mountains were also fantastic. It really felt like a "lodge" that respected its natural setting while making you comfortable. The food was... More
