We flew in after 11 pm and departed at 6 am the next morning. The staff was very friendly, they arranged all transport to and from the airport, and they even printed our boarding passes. The room was clean and breakfast simple and good. The room was a little noisy because we were in a room that faced the street. more

This is a great hotel for seeing Lima. It is centrally located, near the Museo Nacional, near Miraflores and near the Plaza de Armas. It is only about a 40 minute drive from the airport. We bookended our trip with stays in this hotel and were very comfortable there. The rooms are hit or miss, some are really nice, plush... more

I used the casa bella at the start and return of 2 week trip along the "central highway" in peru during september. it was the ideal situation, a comfortable room and bed after a long flight from europe, a secure place to leave excess luggage whilst in the andes (at no extra cost) and friendly warm welcome on my return... more

When Ike threatened to compromise our connecting flight from Miami to Lima, we changed our plans and left Chicago 8 hours early arriving in Lima at 4:15 AM to find the driver from Casa Bella waiting for us at the airport-at such an hour. We were given a key to our cozy room, rested a few hours and then enjoyed... more

Just returned from a very pleasant week's stay in the jr. suite at the CB, which is very comfortable and a great value. The common rooms are very attractive, and the individual rooms and bathrooms are well sized for their prices and clean. There are 2 computers in common spaces available for free internet and also wireless that you can... more

We had booked in Basadre Suites, but that appeared to be full when we arrived due to some booking error. Therefore they moved us to Casa Bella around the corner. Very nice room, well decorated, good hot shower. There were a few steps down into the bathroom directly behind the door, so that may be dangerous in the middle of... more

Ok. But what bugged us was that they tried to nickel an dime you for everything - laundry, breakfast, local phone calls, transport to the airport, etc. The breakfast was not really nice, compared to other B&B's in Peru. Try to stay in the suite, the double room was not that hot and it was a little musty. more

Management response from
Casa-Bella, Owner

We always appreciatte our guests leaving their reviews, it is feedback that make us improve and get better everyday. In the hospitality business there will always be insatisfactions, even in world class hotels; our humble facilities are not an exemption whatsoever. In the case of this guest, we are surprised that her insatisfactions are in regards to services that most,...

Excellent location in San Isidro district of Lima, surrounded by embassies and large private houses, which means good security and taxis are readily available on the street. Welcoming staff and free internet on 2 computers. Value for money: excellent at $55/night. Airport pickup was well worth the $20 as we landed at 1130pm. Our driver (fluent English) even took us... more

We stayed here twice this last summer; on the front end and the back end of a 3 week trip through the fascinating country of Peru. Simply put, Orlando and his staff know how to run a hotel that caters to American and European expectations. His care for his clients shows through, and he and his staff take great care... more

Casa Bella is a great place to stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very professional and friendly. There was usually someone on staff who spoke English which was great for us since our Spanish was very limited. The owners of the hotel are down to earth and very helpful, which was great because it was... more
