this hotel advertises itself as being near the beach - it is if you discount the 150' cliff that it sits on and the 4 lane highway that you have to cross in order to get to the shingle. The breakfast is only juice and bread and jam but there is plenty of it and the bread is fresh. No... More

The hotel is rather expensive for what you get. It is in a good place near to the cliffs and shops in Miraflores. There was no wifi in rooms. The service at breakfast was sometimes rather slow inspite of it being very simple. The reception staff were consistently helpful.

Single pane windows and thin doors are some of the finest amenities here. Shame on you if you like sleeping. Want to hear the couple doing it upstairs? Want to hear a man with whooping cough across a small courtyard? Want to hear the staff bumbling about clumsily all hours of the day and night? Love the sounds of doves?... More

Hotel El Ducado may be a little pricey for South American standards, but it is a nice hotel. Situated in Miraflores, just 5 minutes from Larcomar, the hotel is in an ideal location both to visit Lima but also to have some peace and quiet. Miraflores is a very safe tourist district and there are numerous tours that are on... More

This hotel is a tiny grungy hotel. The room feels like a box with no charm. The worst thing about staying here is how loud the workers are. They start the day a 5:00 am and you can hear everything. There is no regard for their guests and since the hotel is soo small you can hear everyone's conversations. The... More

Miraflores is the place to be if you are a tourist, and it is also a good location for many business and other purposes. The place is full of international visitors from many places, and chances are you will not have problems communicating in any number of languages. Lima hotels can trend expensive and El Ducado is a fine choice... More

Situated off the main drag but not a bad location. The staff attitude left a lot to be desired and it seemed overall not a happy or enthusiastic place. There was no bar facility but they did let you bring a drink in if you wanted to. The breakfast was ok ish but quite limited to bread and jam. Rooms... More

We stayed in this hotel both the first and last night of our journey in Peru. The hotel has an excellent location: Jose Larco avenue with many banks and shops is just a one-minute walk away, it takes 5 minutes to walk to the Larcomar shopping mall with a large variety of restaurants and you can walk down to the... It has been a hectic day. First we got fumigated out of our hotel in the Hostal Porta ant then we got transferred here. The rooms were not that bad, but definitely not the quality for 80 dollars per night. We were sleeping and the alarm started to go off really loud starting 5 am. It kept going every 2... More

Definitely do not stay here! The rooms look much better in pics than in person. The rooms are very dirty and smell terrible!! They also charged for services i did not use. They charged me 80 dollars for 2 towels they say were too dirty to wash. The staff was constantly in my personal business. When i would bring my... More

This review does not give a fair experience of our hotel. The guest showed up with a girlfriend who could not identify herself. Any guest in our hotel always must identify at checkin, and a copy of the document is made for security/administrative reasons. In this case the girlfriend had not any document, which gave problems at checkin. Then during... More
