3 blocks from Miraflores Doubletree. Confusing at arrival since there are No signs up-front; only a big walled door with a buzzer. Arrived at midnight. My first hostel stay since the early 80s when I was in my 20s. Stayed only because My wife & I could not get a decent hotel price due to Dakar Race. Other than shared... More

I was just in this hostel 1 day and after going to the bank put my money belt in a personal safe/locker in a locked room behind front desk. The only people that had keys were myself and staff. When I retrived it 3 hours later I had been fleeced 2-$100 sol notes,1-$20US and 1-$500 colombian peso note!! When I... More

We (young couple) stayed at the Inka Lodge for 4 nights. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions in the city and about prices. Surroundings are safe and breakfast is simple but good. We recommend it. More

We stayed our first night at Kaminu (which was a great disappointment)...we were so happy when we made it to Inka Lodge. The staff in the front desk were so helpful and friendly. We're backpacking w/ kids and this place is def. child friendly. They have a kitchen were you can store snacks/food. The rooms are very clean. We are... More

A total amount of US$ 900 was stoled from me at two recent stays at the Inka Lodge. When I was out, someone entered in my private room, violated the locker of my bag and took part of the money that was inside. It important to register that this ocurred in two short stays at the Inka Lodge, separated from... More

I even phoned then from Brazil, and asked then about the Hostel they forgot mention that they were under refurshiment, messy place, well located, the lady that works there doen's know anything about Peru, can get you a simple advice, made me feel lost, breakfast is simple but okay, and miraflores is very safe at the day time! Overall the hostel itself was clean and its amenities were pretty good. Drinkable water, all day coffee and it was clean, were all pluses, but the service and pricing system made it one of the worst hostels we've ever stayed at in a 6 month trip. First off, the prices and reservation system they use are terrible. We had done... More

The Inka lodge put us in a double room that is right off the kitchen. At 7am we were woken up by people eating breakfast. Even worse, the non-private baths were through the kitchen and dining room, so we had to walk through them half awake to go to the bathroom. The lodge was clean and secure however, and the... More

Incredibly unfriendly staff, only one bathroom for the whole downstairs floor, a live worm crawling around my breakfast bread basket, the slowest internet ever experienced, you cannot let yourself in and out and incredibly over priced. My room had no windows and was on the other side of a very noisy air compressor that turned on and off every 5... More

We stayed here with our kids after booking (very) last minute, we were upstairs in a room with two bunkbeds and a window that opened. Very simple, shared bathrooms were clean and we had no problems there. Breakfast was sufficient. I wouldn't stay again with my kids but it totally did the trick for us since we were heading into...
