This was the best place we stayed in Peru its in aa very good location 5 mins from bars and resturants but down a quiet street, so no noise. There is art all over the place lots of places to sit and enjoy the view and relax, just perfect except that it doesnt have a bar on the premises

We're not exaggerating! The magic begins when the bell signals the unlocking of the large bronze door and you step into this private estate-turned-hotel. Still owned by a famous Peruvian sculptor/painter, and run by his daughter, there is eye-candy EVERYWHERE on this magnificent piece of property located at the end of a quiet street and yet just steps from everything... This is such a unique place, but still excellent accommodations and attention to detail. If you are lucky, you may get a personal tour of Mr. Delfin's studio space. Close proximity to beautiful common spaces and restaurants, public transit. A must!

Nice hotel in a good neighborhood. Friendly people working in the hotel, good breakfast (possible to eat in the garden, super view (Pacific Ocean). Very old classic hotel with a nice design/ architecture. Taxi service to the hotel is good! Dogs and cats in the hotel

We stayed at ‘Second Home Peru’ for a total of 7 nights over 1 month period in October-November 2015 and highly recommend this place. ‘Second Home Peru’ is now our go-to place for any future trips to Lima. We deliberately decided not to stay in Miraflores (where most tourists tend to stay) because of its stale, cold, corporate look. If... More

We felt at home, but with all the luxury of having someone taking care of everything. We were a family of 6 with a big cool suite and a room on the cliffs with a view over the Pacific, both with comfortable beds and special bathrooms. Art is all over the place. Quiet, but walking distance to everything in Barranco.... More

We had a quick stop over in Lima on our trip to Bolivia. We chose to stay at the Second Home hotel because it seemed like a nice hotel with artistic caché in a great Lima neighbourhood. We booked two nights, the 25th and 26th of December. Upon arrival, we were slightly surprised that the receptionist advised us to leave... More

I really read this review in dismay! Who writes this review was not even there, therefore he is writing things that he has over heard from his father & manipulated the events to their own benefit in order to bring a story where they make us pretty unsensitive to their case. I had not sleep from the moment you guys... More

This renovated B&B that was converted from the house of an artist who has a close relationship with Lima and the home still. It is on the cliffs of the Pacific ocean and you can soak in this fantastic view every morning during the delicious breakfast with coffee. Art work is everywhere from the hand-made larger than life chess board... More

Loved staying here! The art is great and the ocean views are awesome! It's a great neighborhood too. One of the coolest B&Bs I've ever stayed at!! We only spent one night here, and I wish we had spent more. There are a lot of things to see in Lima, and we could have enjoyed a couple of days just... More

I would struggle to describe how much I loved staying at Second Home. The hotel is a live-in art gallery. Every turn reveals some of the most wonderful and evocative artwork, painting and sculptures by Senor Victor Delfin. We woke every morning to the sound of the pacific ocean and a wonderful breakfast. Although this hotel was slightly out of... More
