So glad we found Second Home Peru. The place was beautiful, with art everywhere. Very eclectic. I think we stayed in room number 5 in the main house, but not positive. No amazing views but really spacious and a fun bathroom. It was the only room available so we feel totally lucky! Breakfast was great, rolls, jam, eggs, yogurt, etc.... More

The moment we set foot on to the property, we were in love. I am an installation artist and my husband's mother is a painter so we have such a high appreciation for a place like this and are so grateful they are sharing it with the world. I'm a lover of anything with history especially when it comes to... More

Second Home Peru isn't just a beautiful little B&B; it's an art gallery that's practically a work of art itself. Once the home of locally renowned artist Victor Delfin, who still keeps and works in a studio on site, this colonial-style beauty has grown over time into a sprawling collection of rooms and buildings that hang atop the cliffs of... Second Home is simply the place to be in the district to be when in Lima. Just off the busier Miraflores, Barranco has a more traditional and artistic feel. The area is safe and beautiful. The hotel an art gallery with fully functional rooms to rent. The views (ask for ocean side) beautiful on the ocean and the chance of... More

My husband and I stayed here in May 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is gorgeous and well-run. There are lovely rooms in the colonial house, but also in among the hills rolling down from the property. It's almost like a rabbit warren, with little paths leading you to hidden terraces. There are sculptures and art from Sr... More

My wife and I stayed in the Second Home Peru in June 2015 and we could not have found a better place. This is such a unique experience to stay surrounded with art, spectacular views and a friendly host Lillian who would take her time to talk to all her guests. Barranco and Lima deserve more time than what most... More

Second Home is such a unique hotel! It is a small hotel/b&b in the former home of Artist Victor Delfin (Sr. Delfin still lives and creates in a second building on the property.) The house is filled with his exuberant art and is located on the coast in the Barranco district (great access to places to eat, drink and hear... More

20 years ago we spent some time in this house talking about art & life with Victor Delfin. My daughters were in primary school then. We returned a couple of weeks ago and had a great visit. First of all, the house is a precious Casona with wood everywhere, real doors/windows and high ceilings. The house alone takes you to... More

The hotel is very relaxing. It's a stately mansion filled with amazing artwork (paintings and sculpture) by the famous artist, Victor Delfin, who owns the estate. The grounds are beautiful, with a view of the Pacific, plus a pool on-site, which is overlooked by Mr. Delfin's studio. By appointment, visitors can also speak to the artist. The hotel is steps... I can't say enough about this place. We stayed in the Mirador room, overlooking the ocean with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony. The property is owned and managed by the family of Victor Delfin, Peru's Picasso. Thus, it has beautiful sculptures on the lawns and the main building (a mansion converted into a B and B), is basically... More
