we have stayed there twice within the last 2 months. the location could'nt be better. numerous restaurants nearby, as well as banks, and a supermarket, all within a 2 block perimiter. Absolut top and charming location on riff over ocean and close to vibrating Barranco bars. I stayed there with my wife in April for 3 nights and enjoyed the flair of an old renovated villa with garden , enriched by paintings and sculptures of a famous Peruvian artist. The rooms were a bit cold but very nice, although the kitchenette needed an update (very old-fashioned). The hotel itself is beautiful, with two sweet dogs and artwork by Victor Delphin everywhere. Second home Lima is a beautiful and well kept property. The staff can be a little absent at times and breakfast wasn't the greatest but a comfortable stay none the less. Situated within walking distance of many great attractions! More

Kind of torn on this one. The location is truly amazing. Old house with tons of charms and magnificent views. All that said, the owner was not that friendly. Very, very businesslike. Perhaps just comes with running a business. The place is fairly noisy as well. Be prepared for that. You can hear everyone else walking around. More
