As you've probably read elsewhere Second Home Peru is the former home and studio of artist Victor Delfin. It has been beautifully converted to a small hotel in the quiet neighborhood of Barranco about 20 min. south of central Lima. My wife and I spent the first 3 nights of our honeymoon here and loved it. We had a room... More

We stayed here on our last night in Peru and it made us want to stay just a little longer. This is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous art everywhere and located in a very nice area of Lima. The artist has his studio there in the hotel and we found out after exploring the grounds a little. Normally I think... More

We stayed here on our last night in Peru and it was a very special end to our trip. The place is just mind blowing with art everywhere around you. The rooms themselves are very nice too. Breakfast is fantastic. We generally liked Barranco, and this is particularly nice part of it, and also very safe. Very good restaurants in... More

Stayed 2 nights at Second Home in Lima unusual and beautiful hotel in the very nice area of Lima, Barranco. Interesting house with pieces of art displayed, large bedrooms and great garden to sit in. Breakfast was in their kitchen although were we only expecting a continental type breakfast we were asked if we wanted eggs, boiled or scrambled which... More

The Second Home experience certainly feels quite unlike staying in a conventional hotel. The premises and its grounds are indeed beautiful and full of the intriguing artwork of Delfin (including many sculptures in the garden). Our room was comfortable and stylish, although the open plan toilet arrangements were a little inconvenient on occasion (being the occasions when you want to…..I... More

I loved my stay with Second Home Lima. The hospitality was second to none. The property was ideally located to restaurants, shops, and the plaza. The art inside and out was extraordinary and meeting Victor in his studio was a real treat. Thank you Lillian and staff for your hospitality.

In the wonderful district of Barranco, this b&b overlooks the pacific and is in walking distances of good museums and restaurants. The rambling establishment is the home of Victor Delfin and his work is everywhere. Great stay.

We stayed two nights in a classy and spacious room. The hotel is full of works of art by Victor Delfin essentially Peruvian not for the fainthearted. Charming, helpful, good breakfast, upmarket quarter with good bars. Safe parking.

What a delight! A second floor ocean view room was ideal in most ways. We loved the spacious rooms (yes, bedroom, bathroom and dressing/tub room.) The clawfoot tub was the most comfortable bathtub I've ever used. The bed and pillows were great. Breakfast was available for extended hours (until noon.) Coffee/tea, OJ, granola and yogurt, scrambled or fried eggs made... More

Home of artist/sculptor Victor Delfin, there is artwork everywhere you turn - amazing artwork. Views were fabulous. Pool was lovely but too cool to try, and my beautiful room had a claw foot bath and the most comfortable bed I've slept in on my entire South America trip. I was fortunate to be given a tour of the artist's studio... More
