This beautiful villa is absolutely the best place to stay in Lima. It has so much character and full of great art by Victor Delfin, well known Peruvian artist, whose sculpture graces Parque del Amor in Miraflores. We were lucky to meet him during our stay.Rooms are fantastic, with high ceilings, tastefully furnished. Breakfast is lovely, cooked to order. Lovely Lilian,... More

The hotel itself is gorgeous- it's like walking into the brain of an artist and exploring its ideas. The view is spectacular and the garden is very peaceful. That said, the owner, Victor Delfino's daughter, is as unhelpful as a rusted potato peeler. When my friend and I asked her to help us make a few restaurant reservations and showed... More

Wonderful location! It is an old converted colonial house - beats staying in a hotel! Very interesting art and paintings all through the hotel. We loved the breakfast in the kitchen, the beautiful room and tub. Probably best to stay here with your romantic partner or alone - no doors to the bathroom. Service was excellent. loved it.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Second Home very much. Lilian and all her staff are extremely helpful with your day's programs and all your restaurant selections. They make every effort to make your stay memorable. We spent 3 nights in the hotel, 2 in one of the rooms in the house, and one in a cottage which... More

That is what the Fodor travel book said about Second Home Peru and it is absolutely true. We loved our stay. Because my plans changed, I made two separate reservations, and thus, had the priviledge of staying in two different rooms during our stay. Both rooms were amazing! Windows open to an ocean breeze, beautiful views, awe inspiring art and... More

Quirky hotel, this hotel is owned by a famous Peruvian artist and loads of his paintings and sculptures are all around the hotel, both inside and outside. Situated in a popular and up market area of Barranco, with easy access to Miraflores What stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, . Room a little disappointing we were advised it was a... More

Mywife and I stayed here for four nights at the start of our honeymoon and it was a perfect choice. The hotel is located at the end of a quiet cul de sac with incredible views of the Pacific from our room. Lilian was incredibly friendly and always had time for a chat when she seen us. She gave us... More

This hotel books up fast, so get in when you can. It's a great value, great rooms, breakfast and views. It's in Barranco, so arts and restaurants and bars at all around. Lilian is a wonderful proprietor and host. I will definitely return when in Lima next.

Lilian Delfin was the perfect hostess for our one night stay at Second Home Lima. Her home was bedecked with sculptures and paintings done by her famous artist father..Victor Delfin. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific, we saw the artist at work..after eating a scrumptious breakfast, and lounging in the common spaces. Lilian outlined a full day of activities... More
