I stayed here for over a week and it was awesome. Simple, clean and very friendly. The staff were so very helpful and they stored our luggage for free and was very safe. It's a short walk to anything you need. You can't over emphasise the value of safety, friendliness and good service especially for women travelling alone in Peru.... more

Nice hotel in the suburb of Miraflores, which is the modern centre of Lima, with many shops, cinemas, pubs, restaurants etc (it is a bit of a drive from the historic centre though, where the major sights are). Nice little place in Miraflores close to most everything including a pharmacy, bodega, a few restaurants (Las Tejas is good). Walking distance to the LarcoMar mall about 15 minutes, also a large grocery store on La Paz cannot remember the name. We have traveled extensively through Central America using tourist class hotels (our preference since it puts money into the hands of the local economy and not into US owned hotel conglomerates.) Like many people, we stayed at this hotel because we had booked a separate tour which began here, so we added on a extra night beforehand. The hotel itself is pretty standard. The rooms were clean, free breakfast was good (bread rolls, a bowl of fruit and scrambled eggs), internet access, cable TV, etc. Also the location is not bad.... more

Clean, personable staff, decent amenities, good breakfast. Stayed 2x one night. Second night was room facing street - good. First night was room only with inside window (with drapes) into foyer. Shame not to have view, and lights coming on at night were a bit disruptive. Handled transportation elements well. Hotel satisfied our needs but was not memorable. more
