The place, where the hostal is located, is one of the exclusive neighbors in Lima, also is very secure, you can take night-walks, you have a lot of posibilities to choose a place to it. The service from the hostal was personalized because the owner (Mr. Angelo) is the one that take care of the hostal. The recommendations to travel... More

We were here for only two days as we have many other stops in Peru and I have to say it's hard to leave! Angelo, his wife and staff are so hospitable and friendly. He helped us with directions whenever we needed and even helped us book a flight, along with anything else we needed assistance with. The rooms in... More

Angelo, the owner, is what makes this place. His English is excellent, and he loves to help people discover his city. He has tons of suggestions about what to do, where to eat, areas to avoid, how much to expect to pay for taxis, etc. I had been nervous about travelling alone in Peru, and in particular about being out... I stayed here for four nights. Angelo, the owner, and his wife were there to welcome when I arrived. Angelo is a true gentleman and was able to answer all my questions on places to eat, visit, etc plus provide other interesting pieces of information on Peru and Lima. The rooms were fine - I just wanted somewhere quiet and... More

This is one of the best places I've stayed in terms of locality, willingness of the owner (Angelo) to assist in any way he can and safety/ambience as it is by a park. English also spoken. Would definitely recommend to others and have spoken to others I have met since staying there who agree.

My daughters & I stayed at Angelo's hostel at the start & finish of our month in Peru. I found Angelo to be a man of impeccable ethics & honesty. When an error was made Angelo compensated us well & truly beyond expectations. We were treated like honoured guests & provided with information which was invaluable for travellers in a... More

Angelo, the owner, was amazing. Great local knowledge and gave tips for restaurants that were cheap and great grub! He helped get us taxis and was always keen to help. My wife's bag didn't arrive at Lima and he sorted it. Good room, plenty of a space. Ample breakfast. Hot water was there when you wanted it. This place is... More

What I liked about B&B Tradiciones: -- Location: B&B Tradiciones is located in Miraflores, which is a pretty tourist-friendly and safe part of Lima. The location was great, and we were able to walk to the handicraft markets, the coast and other shops from the B&B with no problem. -- Staff: The staff were great. Very attentive and willing to... Be prepared for a trip back in time. While staying here I had memories of my granddad's house because of all the old looking furniture, beds and old brown couches. Not sure if I would like to stay in a place like that on my holidays though. I only stayed for 1 night before my flight back to Europe, but... More

We stayed at B&B Tradiciones in Lima, Peru in April 2014. We got to the B&B from the airport late at night, and were welcomed by Angelo and his staff when we got there..... The B&B has a court-yard area with tables and chairs....and is like a house, where there are individual rooms (under lock-and-key). The court-yard area is cool,... More
