I was extremely pleased with the people at Hostal Jose Luis. I was lucky that I was the only one in my room, and it was clean and comfortable. I wrote my prior review based on an April 2004 stay. We went back in May 2008 and were very disappointed. The room we got in 2004 was busy, so we were given another room facing the street. Yes, it is Miraflores, which is the place to stay in Lima, but there are plenty of other hostal/hotels to stay in. Avoid this place.
