Great trip in Peru and this was our last stop. Rang the bell and a very rude woman opened the door. They could not find our reservation and had rooms so put us in a room. Room had a terrible odor of mildew that it made my eyes tear. The ceiling fan was broken. No curtain on the bathroom window... More

I travelled recently (June) to Lima, Peru for a conference about Internal Peace with the Ambassador of Peace, Prem Rawat. I stayed at Villa Molina, a small and one of the most traditional hotels in the city. The hotel is an old traditional house, the home of an aristicratic family, which was converted into a hostal. When I arrived at... More

This is a quiet hotel that is fine for a night or two. It is located in a quiet area of Miraflores surrounded by expensive homes. Rooms are basic and clean, hot water was a little sporadic. It is great value however!

I love this small hotel. I stayed there for five nights over the course of a week with a visit to another area in between. I was thrilled by the family atmosphere from the owner to all the staff. They became friends and went way above and beyond what they "had" to do to make me comfortable and welcome. They... More

I go to Lima a lot, and always recommend friends to stick to the basics when it come to holiday hotels, and enjoy the city as much as you can. Villa Molina is perfect for that. This a no frills hotel, located very close to the best restaurants and business areas, but in a calmed residential area, with little traffic.... More

Positive reviews on here must be written by family members or friends! They should be removed. I was "dumped" into this "hotel" when my booked hotel decided that it was overbooked and offered to "upgrade" me to Molina. Ha, ha. First impressions count - I couldn't get in! Entrance was via a barred gate which was locked and had to... More

What can I say about Villa Molina? It is a small, quiet hotel in a quaint neighborhood near Ovalo Gutierrez. It was just by chance that I even found it as it is not very well advertised and kind of hidden in the middle of a neighborhood. Walking in is a pleasant experience as you enter into a very beautiful... More

The hotel staff did not speak english too well. I had difficulty communicating. The room was chilly with no heater. I was able to double up on other bedding on another bed in the room. No drape on bathroom window, sheer drapes on other windows. No lock on door. (Used a table to feel 'secure' first part of week, got... More
