This hostel was described as basic but clean. Unfortunately, although the owner is helpful, the room smelled like mildew, it was falling apart, and felt like a decrepit institution. I would not recommend this place at all.

The owner, Erwin was very kind and helpful in making arrangements for taxis and advising on travel through Peru. The hostel though is a little tired looking, and a bit expensive for what you get , even in Lima.
