Overall this place is good and staff are helpful. The inner setting is pleasant and relaxing and the continental breakfast is simple like most other places in Peru. The rooms are a little dated but in good shape. Don't expect to see the bright colors from the website photos but that shouldn't stop you from choosing El Patio. This isn't... More

Beautifully decorated, lush plants, comfortable, quiet, and reasonably priced. Airport pickup and drop off was an excellent 'perk'. Close to all the activity of Miraflores, and very safe to walk to restaurants, shops, parks. Visited in the dreary cool winter months, so the fireplace was an added bonus. Simple breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, several of whom speak good... More

This was a secure welcoming oasis in the middle of Lima. We had a room with fan and en suite ( room 22 ) tucked away in a corner on the ground floor. Near enough Park Kennedy and the main sights but quiet and overflowing with flowers. Plenty of sit out area, good breakfast of assorted fresh breads, ham, cheese,... More

Airport pickup was fast and easy and 50 soles, arranged with the hostal. The hostal is centrally located, just a short walk to Park Kennedy. There is NO air conditioning. Our 1st floor room was hot, it had a little patio but we couldn't have the door open for airflow because anyone on the upstairs patio could look down and... More

Pre arranged car 50 soles from airport, out of rush hour traffic - driver warned how bad that would be so take into account when you need to get back to the airport. Miraflores is a suburb of big city Lima, mainly residential area, safe to walk around. Hotel had good restaurant on the same street, others nearby, and also... More

+ Clean + friendly and helpful staff + airport pickup service (not incl. in the price) + cozy atmosphere (the collared patio and the chill out area is really cool) - currently there is a construction side directly next to the hostel (but they didn't work in the evening or night so it wasn't a problem)

Based upon the other reviews I am greatly disappointed as to the quality of this hotel. The room smelled old, dirty and musty, the shower knob came out of the wall in my hand, Airport pick up was arranged in advance and was waiting for me. About 2 miles walk to Larcomar. Noise from street

Clean cheap nice place in the center of a relatively safe and touristy neighborhood. El Patio is a small inn located in the middle of new highrises within walking distance of everything including the ocean. Some English is spoken by the very helpful staff. Very pretty pace if a bit noisy from the street. Ask for a second floor room.... More

Everything was really great. The rooms are beautif and sliess with a lovely little courtyard. Perfect location given 2 minutes from Kennedy park yet far enough to hear too much noise. The only thing is that the room smelled of mold... In all fairness lima is a vey humid city, but bit all hotels have rooms that smell of mold.... More

I stayed here for 2 nights, taking a recommendation from Lonely Planet. This place did not dissappoint! It was a nice, quiet retreat off in the midst of Miraflores busyness! The building had a lot of character and felt very safe. The beds were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were also quite clean. The common areas were really nice!... More
