Even though we had one of the better rooms...#15 with a huge balcony looking to the street ( a little noisy in the morning though)...I could not help to notice what is, in my opinion, very hard to find in Peru. Indifferent service! After years of dealing with bland and obnoxious tour groups (which seem to compose 90% of the... more

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour and agree with all that has been said earlier. I had 2 rooms and both were dark and quite loud although they were pretty well sized. The included breakfast was very basic although you could pay for more. The location is great, near the beach, a supermarket, some restaurants.... more

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in Lima in the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. The first room was #9. It was extremely dark (we wore our headlamps to see in our packs). The bathroom was not clean. The room had a overpowering musty smell. The smell was still in our clothing when... more

Average hotel, needs a makeover, rooms dark, service wasn't great, accidently left my black NZ jacket hanging in the closest when I left for Cusco, phoned the staff when I realized and they told me the jacket was with them and safe, but when I returned a week later they "couldn't find it" so I think one their staff decided... more

We stayed a total of 2 nights at this hotel. We got room #10 which had an oversized king bed, a clean shower, and a huge window to the inner garden... The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was good... no complaints. more

We spent a total of 5 nights here over the course of two and a half weeks during July as part of a package traveliing round other parts of Peru. This hotel looks very pretty from the outside and is well located but is in dire need of a make over and an attitude shake up. The rooms are dark... more

Well, I just got back from a GAP trip whose joining and leaving hotel is this one. After pouring over the reviews prior to the trip, my wife and I had some hesitations about staying here but we couldn't change it as it was part of a tour.... As it turns out, on the first and last day I got... more

Stayed there for one night each at the start and end of the 2 week trip to Peru. Rooms dark, basic, damp and smell. External appearance of building and location fine but it would benefit from a complete refurbishment; rooms are dated, tired and gloomy. Obviously used by tour companies as a transit hotel (as we did) and heard people... more

Stayed (pre-booked by company) here overnight - for a few hours really - on route to Cusco. Some of our party had to change rooms because of a noisy party going on. Our room was very basic, smelling of damp. We were pretty much wiped out by the long flight etc, so slept the few hours we needed to. I... more
