The hotel itself is not worth comments...but if you want to stay in Lima for day or two, within limited budget on good and safe location, than you wan't regret if you stay with Kamana. Regarding cleanless....well, its not a shining star but i can not say its dirty...maybe it has just dirty look as it is a bit shabby....the... More

The hotel is in a very good position a short walk to the main square. The first room we were allocated smelled of smoke but we had no problem being allocated another room which was very clean. The stairs were being renovated but we were able to use the lift instead. The hotel had very good security. Breakfast was available... More

I enjoyed leaving this hotel to go and walk around the city and get bites to eat. I felt safe in the area but still watched my back and left my passport etc at the hotel safe. The hotelis down a laneway off a main street, a busy laneway though. My room was adequate.

We arrived here in the middle of the night and it looked like the hotel was in a bad neighboorhood, hower don't let this deceive you. The location of this hotel is spot on if you want to go to the main shopping street or visit the old part of town ( far away from Miraflores though). The room was... More

We were getting off a long flight late at night and wanted a reliably nice place to stay for our first night in Peru, Hotel Kamana was NOT that. Our guide book and the photos only led us to believe this would be a good spot. The lobby was nice as shown, but going to our room no lights were... More

The location is the main selling point of this hotel. The rooms are shabby and the glass in the windows are for decoration only as they certainly don't keep out any street noise. But our room was huge and clean, and the bathroom was fine. My only real concern is that you need to leave your room key at reception,... More

Came here as part of our tour with Toucan tours. Its very outdated and could do with a makeover. However it was clean and in a pretty good location in downtown lima. Lots of shops around and restaurants too. Stay here for the location - not the decor

Very rough around the edges hotel, room nothing special (although twin room had two double beds, which was good) and shower better described as a trickle. Very noisy at night - have your ear plugs on hand! A lot of pros going for it though... great location, just a street away from the main pedestrian road with the main square... More

Even though they had send me a driver to the airport, it seemed that the room was not reserved. Nevertheless they found a room for me. Double check your reservation! The room was cold, no heating, the window not closing. I was happy to have my sleeping bag. Airport transfer worked, but a request for a taxi in town did... More

Arrived late at night and was a disappointed with he standard of the room. Tatty looking furniture and a noisy fridge. There was a lot of external noise too. The shower was cold in the morning and had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that. Bed was comfy and did sleep relatively well considering noise. Was booked as... More
