The Country Club came highly recommended by a Peruvian friend who stays so frequently that he has a favorite room. The hotel is undeniably elegant and attentively staffed. The rooms are large and breakfast on the terrace is a great way to start the day. However, what particularly impressed me was how much was included in the room rate. I...

This hotel is beautiful. After a hectic drive from the airport, this hotel was so welcoming. I couldn't wait to step inside. Overall the staff were friendly. The Bar Ingles was dark and cozy. Pisco Sours were yummy. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. My biggest complaint was the pool area. It...

This is my Favorite Hotel in South America. Palces like this remind me why I love to travel!
Beautiful and serene, The Country Club Hotel is the grand hotel of Lima. Situated across from the Country Club Golf Course and a short cab ride to shopping and night life, this jem of a hotel feels plesantly off the beaten path,...

We organized our engagement party in February in this hotel. The service provided by the event manager was great, we chose this one after looking at several other hotels in Lima and we were not disappointed by the service during the party and during our stay. The food served during the dinner was great and the restaurant with it's beautiful...

This was our third stay at the County Club Hotel, a lovely and serene oasis combining elegant decor with conscientious service. Rooms are large and well appointed with high ceilings and huge bathrooms and very cosy fittings. Breakfast is a rare treat with a vast spread of local fresh fruits and juices, housemade yogurts, cereals, charcuterie, cheeses, jams, breakfast breads...

This is one of those grand ole hotel found in most cities that have been colonized by Europeans. It was apparently part of THE country club in Lima and the current club is adjacent to it. Lawns are perfectly manicured; marble floor is highly polished; cutlery is silver; tablecloth is white. It feels very much like a set from Miami-Vice...

We booked in US$ on the website, but the hotel actually requires payment in Peruvian Soles at an extortionate exchange rate (2.95, 8% above the 2.73 available at the bank) unless payment is made in cash (not a common payment method given the prices). They also charge 10% service on the room charge. So take whatever you think you're paying...

The hotel looks like an old country club and seems to be one of the few places with character and greenery around. It is smart, and feels like a top international hotel when you walk around e.g. juice/ sparkling wine to drink while you check-in, very smartly dressed staff. Service was generally of a high standard, especially for Peru.

This Hotel, beautiful and elegant, is considered, by the local wealthy people, a "Country Club" Hotel.
It means that, they come (already high in alcohol” for their “nightcap” and, normally, they go forward until get “stony drunk”.
Of course, sometime it is good to get relaxed but a bunch of "High-end Limenos " overpass this condition.
If you come for...
