This was a pretty mediocre hotel. The location is ok--walking distance to the Metropolitano to get downtown, and to the ocean, but there isn't much else around. The hotel itself seemed very old and dingy. Most of the rooms have no windows to the outside, but instead face the hallway and central "courtyard." You could see and hear everyone that... More

This is a difficult one to rate. The hotel is excellent: great breakfast, helpful front desk, exchanges dollars, good bed & bath. Beach is close as is shopping center, restaurants, and so forth. The only problem is the street noise, which seems to go on all night. Be sure to close the bathroom door as the vent to the outside... More

The Good 1) This is an older property, but security is tight, which is important in Lima. 2) The "house" driver Tito was fantastic. He provided great local advice, drove me to a museum, and also drove me to the airport for a 6 am flight back to the USA. Unfortunately, Tito is not in charge of this hotel, otherwise... More

Clean rooms and larger than normal bathroom for this price point. Sound insulation is also better than most of the other hotels I stayed at during my two weeks in Peru. Close location to main square and park (I believe it was called Kennedy Square). Many good options for food close by at the square. Inca Market also very close... More

I'm trying to write this review with an open mind as it was a cheaper option than other hotels I was considering in Lima. However, I can't help but think the reviews might be slightly overrated still. I started off on the wrong foot with these guys because of an ordeal with the airport transfer. I arranged for my boyfriend... More

We found this hotel to be good value and were particularly impressed by the friendly and helpful reception staff. Our room was good, rather than excellent, as was the bathroom. We were on the 5th floor so well away from any traffic noise. Breakfast was ordinary.

Amazing location, away from all the noise of the streets but on our first night we had to stay in the first floor and we couldn't even sleep we can hear people talking, eating, walking!! For the price it was just good, and like I say you can take 28 de Julio all the way down about 1 hour walking... More

We spent two nights at the CA San Anontio on our recent trip to Peru. We really enjoyed the quiet residential location of the hotel, and it's family friendliness. In fact most of the hotels we stayed at in Peru were great for fmi lies including wakapunku in Cusco and CA in the sacred valley. Some amazing food options nearby,... More

We spent 3 nights at this hotel on our way to Puno. Loved Lima what a wee surprise, the most amazing food, shopping and beautiful buildings...I think Lima is a romantic city in its own right. Anyway back to the hotel yep thought this hotel had everything we needed, good WIFI, average breakfast but everything you need, beds were OK... More

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and found it to be great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is basic but has a decent selection of fruits, eggs and cheeses. A pot of Mate de Coca available in the lobby all day long. Location is great, about a 10-15 minute walk to Larcomar shopping center of... More
