We spent three nights at the Hotel Antiqua Miraflores. The building has old charm and character and is conveniently located. However, it is old. The carpets, hallways are smelly and dingy. The fan in our room was literally wobbling and threatening to come down. The bathroom faucets, toilets all needed repair. Most disgusting: they ask travelers to not put toilet... More

The carpet in the entire place was dirty and stinky. The furnishings were antiques (thus, the name of the hotel) and were very nice and creative use of old items -- very nice furnishings. The a/c in the room was weak, but sufficient. I mentioned to the staff that the filth in the carpet was making the place stink, and... More

My Machu Picchu tour group stayed here for three nights in March. Loved it. The first and second night I had a room on the top floor overlooking a semi- courtyard. The last night I was in a huge room with kitchenette overlooking a central gorgeous courtyard. Though older, the furnishings were adequate, the lobby, breakfasts, and art quirky and... More

Stayed at the Hotel twice in February; first time with an very early morning arrival; found the desk staff helpful. Second time was just before noon and it was a little bit of a zoo with rooms not ready and the staff unhelpful. They should have been ready for us as the tour comes in every other week at that... We had a room on the top floor which was quiet at night. They were renovating the room next door so there was noise during the day but it didn't effect us. The bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated so it was lovely & clean. The hotel seemed very secure.

Like most previous reviewer, this hotel is a nice place to stay with all basic amenities. It's very clean and well maintained. They have plenty of filtered water for your use as you do not want to even use the faucet water for brushing your teeth. Air conditioners and fans in room as well as being able to open your... More

We stayed a total of 3 nights at the Antigua Miraflores in Lima as part of a travel group. Hotel was clean and reasonably comfortable. we stayed on the second floor toward the back of the hotel but our room did overlook a small courtyard with a fountain. Our room was quiet and reasonably appointed with 2 beds and a... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and later another 2 nights as part of an OAT tour. The hotel is a charming old building on a quiet street but within a short walking distance of shops, restaurants, parks and the malecon. The hotel is undergoing some renovations and the rooms that still need doing are definitely looking very tired, but... More

Beautiful old building that has lovely rooms that are clean and well maintained. The hotel is in a fenced property with a staff member always available to open the gate. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Walking distance to Kennedy Park and many shops & restaurants. The bar made excellent Pisco Sours. Very good WiFi. Many beautiful antiques.

I spent 10 days in this hotel, I cannot say anything negative about it, and although the place is still under expansion/renovations everything is functioning and well oiled. The service, reception, staff are above grade. The restaurant is full of local old furniture and artifacts, the shop, although expensive, offers Peru-made fine jewelry. The restaurant's menu could use improvement.
