The Sheraton are located in the heart of historic Lima. When you are going out for sightseeing in daytime the hotel is in walking distance from the most interesting sights. I didn't encounter any problems during my stay at the Sheraton, and I didn't find the location inconvenient either, as some people here have concerns about. If you are careful... more

This hotel is badly located, what can be a problem in Lima as taking cabs is always an adventure. Either you need to risk the street cabs or pay a lot for the hotel taxi. It is close to the Cathedral and one could easily walk there, but it is too dangerous to walk in the city center, so it... more

On a 15 day trip to Peru, I stayed at the Sheraton in Lima for 2 nights before my trip to Cusco. The Hotel is up to US Standards but don’t leave the Hotel. I cannot say I experienced or witnessed any crime but I did feel uneasy stepping out after dark. My fiancés' relatives advised not to go after... more

The hotel itself was pretty nice and on par with Sheratons in other major cities. The room was clean and well appointed, but absolutely reeked of smoke. The desk staff was very helpful in booking tours and transportation. Restaraunt was excellent. I would not stay in Central Lima next time; Miraflores is much nicer and traveler friendly. The Sheraton's central... more

Very nice hotel, a true four star hotel according to me. Booked twice a single room, both times I was given a beautiful room, large one, with private bathroom. Very clean. Nice view (was on top floor). Good and not expensive room service. Fantastic meals. Breakfast was so luxurious (from tropical fresh fruits to Japanese special) I usually did not... more

We spent two nights in this hotel en-route to Cusco. The sheraton is located in central lima near the center of town. The location had been brought up by other people on this forum as less than ideal, and would agree. This part of town is not safe, and SOLO travellers would be wiser to choose other areas particularly Miraflores... more

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Lima and before departing for Cusco the next day. We got a deal on a club room, which gave us access to a free buffet breakfast. Nothing really to see around the hotel, but we were fine with the location for one night. This hotel is much closer to the airport... more

The hotel is on the edge of the old city which was accessible by foot. The room was comfortable and well-furnished and great for our online price: $US60. Teh staff were extremely efficient but not overly direxted towards tourism, it is more of a business and gambling hotel But it is in a casino, not next door or around the... more

Stayed 4-nights at hotel was pretty nice, not 5-star quality but around 4. Lobby is very small and cramped casino was very small. Staff was excellent though extremlly helpful. Breakfast was great, large selection. Location was average if you were into safety and nightlife. Its right in downtown, right near Plaza San Martin. Not much offerings for resteruants or nightlife.... more

This hotel is not worthy of it's 5stars. (Average service, average rooms-you have a real feel of being in prison when walking through the tower block to get to the rooms.) You must pay an extra for nearly everything ($8 sauna use, $4 gym, $20-70 Soles airport pick-up/drop-off, etc.) The casino was the only part of the hotel which was... more
