I stayed in the Benavides House for 5 months. Everything about the Benavides Family Guest House was perfect. The bus stop is only a few blocks away, Larcomar is within walking distance, the house itself is located in a very safe neighborhood, and the family is so welcoming. They will help you with anything you need. Also, the rooms are... More

This is not a review of the housing, because I didnt stayed at the Benavides, but of the character of Mrs. Rosario, the owner and host. I went to see the house and after checking all the bedrooms (all 5 were available), told Mrs. Rosario I wanted to stay there and separated a particular bedroom. Mrs. Rosario said it was... More

We called this lady to make a reservation after an add we saw. We asked her the price and she said it was $425USD. I told her it was 2 of us and that we wanted 1 room with 2 twin size beds. She said that was fine and she quoted me the same price again, $425USD or 1200 soles.... More

Living in the Benavides home for 4 1/2 months was a very loving, relaxed, and cultural experience for me. I studied in Lima for a semester and enjoyed my stay with Charo and Carlos tremendously! I had my own room, bathroom, porch, a huge window with a great view, and even a kitchenette for the three upstairs rooms to share!... More

I stayed with the Benavides family for a two month period while studying in Peru. The family made me feel very welcomed, and Rosario was always very excited to share Peru with her guests! The food was always authentic Peruvian, delicious (!!!!!), and healthy plus always desert! Also, the bedrooms were all clean, comfortable, and spacious with their own bathroom.... More

I stayed in the lovely Benavides home from August to December 2011, the home is beautiful, clean and has all the necessities and plenty of extras too. Televisions in all of the bedrooms, private bathrooms and movies galore! The food was one of my personal favorites, Rosario ensures that the students experience all types of traditional peruvian cuisine both in... More

I stayed her during a study abroad trip for a little over a month. From the moment I walked in the door, Rosario and Carlos were warm and made me feel at home. The accommodations were better than I expected. I shared an apartment that was attached to the house with it's own entrance. The apartment was very modern and... More

I lived at the Benavides Guest House for 6 weeks during the Summer of 2011 while studying at the Universidad del Pacifico and had an extremely enjoyable experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-decorated, well-furnished and made me feel right at home. I had my own television, desk and bathroom. I also shared a kitchen with my roommates with full... More

I stayed at the Benavides Family Guest House for two months in Spring 2011. The rooms are very upscale and beautifully decorated. Each room has its own bathroom with brand new appliances. The home is in Miraflores, the safest and most upscale neighborhood in Lima, and it is close to Larcomar and Parque Kennedy. Their home is extremely clean, and... More

Incredible home and a phenomenal family! I stayed with the Benavides family in June of 2011 and couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were so welcoming and eager to show me the city of Lima, introduce me to local cuisine, and involve me in their culture and lifestyle. I felt very comfortable and safe in their house and...
