Long complicated drive from Lima on crappy roads. Do not expect much to do in the immediate area. Very relaxing place for sleeping in late and down time. We tried the bar and an appetizer. This resort is an hour from the Lima, very long taxi ride. I did a timeshare exchange and when checking in at 2:00 a.m. no one spoke english. Furthermore, the front desk people do not speak a word of english. The guard checked us in and thankfully our hired taxi driver spoke english. The restaurant has no menu and does... More

Greatly enjoyed our time at Sauce Alto, although it is about an hour and 10 min. cab ride from the airport in Lima. We arrived very late a night (2 am.) due to a late flight, but had no problems checking in (I suggest being careful with travel this late!). We went in June and there were very few visitors... More
