Having stayed with this chain in La Paz and found the place pretty decent, this branch was not so great. Pros: The seemingly only member of staff was very helpful and friendly. The lockers in the rooms are a decent size. Cons: The rooms are pokey, with sheets seemingly made of plastic and wobbly beds. The bathroom is small and... More

Clean, safe and friendly. The staff are beyond wonderful, helpful and constantly cheery! Decent breakfast, good location, quiet and homey. Overall a great place to stay!! It's a simple bus ride to the centre of town and there's a dozen huge markets around for souvenirs at good prices (also a large supermarket close by so you can cook in the... More

Located close to the shoreline mall. Friendly, English speaking personal. A good working WiFi. And a rich breakfast. Well, I am a backpacker, using hostels all over. Have seen places more worth. Personal tries hard to keep this place clean.

Dirty, unclean washroom and we were robbed from our private room, is there any more needed to be said? This happened after the front desk insisted we needed to "return the key for safekeeping" when we went out. Upon letting them know, they pretty much just shrugged their shoulders, and didn't bother looking at their video camera footage or questioning... More

The staff are so indifferent and unhelpful. They do not care about any of the needs or requests of the guests. A toilet seat would be nice. Some soap in the bathroom, maybe some toilet paper once in a while or paper towel at the very least, even a week old newspaper. It is dark and dank with a 'tidy'... More

Nobody speaks any English, they rely on the computer and Google translate to get anything accomplished. It is dark and dirty. The bathrooms had no soap or paper, and the ladies room had no toilet seat. However, the real reason we HATE this place is, not two hours after check in we were robbed, out of our private room. The... More

This is the second hostal I stayed in in Arequipa. It's a great place. The room was large and spacious with wood paneling and good beds, hot shower and fast wifi. It was quiet here, away from the busy party scene where I stayed earlier behind the cathedral. The rooftop is great with loads of comfy chairs. Breakfast is served... More

The facilities arent that great, a little run down and cramped but the staff made up for it. Id had bad experiences with the 2 hostels I had stayed at prior to arriving here and was feeling a bit disheartened, but my atitude changed when I arrived! Firstly I arranged an airport pick-up through them, and although the driver couldnt... More

We booked this place for 2 nights right before coming on-line since we were already in Peru. When we arrived the front desk person spoke no english (but we speak decent enough spanish) and they told us that they were full. They called their other location and after a long conversation, told us that they had room over there and... More
