I am 60 and I travelled with a friend who is 68 and we had a great time. It was quiet and gave excellent value for money. I would be happy to pay more and have a bit better quality food. The staff were very good and polite especially to the English who were noticeably politer than the Russians.

My friends and I stayed here one night before and one night after a surfing trip to northern Peru. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. An outstandingly unselfish and helpful act occured when I accidentally left my passport in the hotel upon checking out to return to the US. Upon discovery of my passport, and... More

For the price, there are two minor issues, the rest was great. First, while not far, you are on the outskirts of the hub of activity in Miraflores (shops, restaurants, views of the ocean). You walk across a bridge and traffic, then maybe another 10 minutes. And two, Wi-fi is very weak in the rooms and still weak in the... More

As I arrived in Lima with no planning at all I asked my taxi driver to recommend a hotel for me in Miraflores. While the price was okay, the location wasn't ideal as it was quite far from Parque Miraflores and parallel to the always busy Paseo de la Republica. The saving grace was that the reception staff were very... More

A taxi driver bought us to nirvana on our first night in Peru and we are lucky he did. The staff are so helpful and friendly and speak great English! The prices are very fair and the hotel owner is an expert on tours and prices for travelling and you can really trust his advice. It feels like the hotel... More

A friend of mine recommended me to this hotel…All I have to say is thank God. My husband and I stayed in Lima for 10 days and we were treated as family at Hotel Nirvana. The hotel has a beautiful pool, a pleasant garden to relax and enjoy a meal and a staff like no other. They were friendly and... More

We had a room overlooking the pool and patio. We enjoyed the good bed, internet, and breakfast -- could not get the television to work. Located in an expanded private home, the hotel stands out for its art collection and its beautiful interior woodwork. We were not impressed by the 2 soles per minute charge for using the hotel phone,... More

I enjoyed the pool and the communitive BBQ and kitchen. The rooms in the front are noisey but the ones to the back are quiet and overlook a courtyard and the pool. The room rates where fair as long as your staying more than one night. The staff was really helpful and if you catch Luis (owner) or Paco (the... More

I read the previous comments and they are both true.Bedrooms at the front of the hotel have a lot of traffic noise, but at the back they overlook a lovely garden and pool.In the better weather the garden and pool add considerably to the value and the pleasantness of the experience. If you arrive by taxi and are only staying one... More
