A boat adrift! The worst experience in my life. I was robbed in my room because the owner, always to drunk in the course of the 3 days, let in a guest without properly checking the full documentation. This same guest broke into my room and stole me Eur 1500 while I was taking breakfast and escaped without paying. Mr... More

Although the hotel is nice and nice/safely located, the hotel owner is drunk/under influence for a big part of the day/night. He is very charming/helpfull, but gets over charming/helpfull when under influence. As a lady travelling alone I did not feel comfortable walking in the public places as he would tend to come over to talk/give advice, but never stop... More

I had a wonderful stay at this amazing Vila. Those who love architecture will appreciate this Frank Loyd Wright like design. Very open, very spacious, and lots of wonderful hidden rooms and features. The Villa is about a 15 minutes walk from the Center, and I found it to be a plus. The food in Lima is so good, that... More

Harry, the owner, is very kind, though intense. The car he arranged from the airport was not fit to be on the road and stunk of petrol - made us all ill. He helped arrange trips around Lima, but was drunk and under the influence of cannabis some evenings - not great in front of the children. The rooms are... More

My collegue and I arrived at 1 am from Mexico City, the owner was very welcoming at our arrival; the rooms were pretty spacious and clean and the hotel had a very good vibe and ambiance. Breakfast pretty good as it was a home-made breakfast. The owner "Harry" and its staff were always open to help with recomendations and guidance.... More

We arrived by plane @ 1:00 A.M. & Harry (the owner) had arranged (in previous e.mails) for an affordable taxi to meet us @ the airport in Lima. The taxi driver was there waiting for us, sign in hand. He was soft spoken, kind, & drove carefully to Villa Ponciana. It took us about 20-25 min. to get to the... More

We found this hotel at the last minute on the Trip Advisor website and we got lucky! This is a small hotel which gives it a very personal feel - Harry's guidance and local knowledge was perfect to ensure we got the most out of our day in Lima. The breakfast was excellent. On arrival we found the rooms a... More
