Entering the lobby of Ceiba Tops is always nice, and the rooms with their A/C and hot water are a welcome change after the wonderfully rustic lodges (Explornapo is my favorite.) The food and service are good and the hammock room and walking trails are nice. I would definitely recommend staying here at the end of an Explorama trip, but... More

We were met by our guide (Abelardo) at the airport, transferred to the pier, boarded their private boat and soon arrived at Ceiba Tops Lodge. This is a sprawling lodge with all rooms on the ground floor (all with private facilities and a/c), main house with bar and dining room and a swimming pool. Our rooms were neat, clean and... More

On our way to the Peruvian Amazon, all I could think of was "We're going to be in the JUNGLE". Thoughts of crocodiles, anacondas and wild animals filled my head. Once I got to Ceiba Tops Lodge, those horrific thoughts faded into the background. A beautiful cabana with lobby & restaurant/bar, palm trees and an amazing pool took over. It... More

I absolutely loved our stay here. I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights with my mother and we had the best time ever. About the hotel- it is luxury for the jungle. The rooms are air conditioned and comfortable, and the hotel has a pool. The grounds are absolutely beautiful as you can see the Amazon river flowing... More

We enjoyed everything about the Ceiba Tops Lodge. We spent four nights at this lodge - from the transfer from the airport in Iquitos, the boat rides on the Amazon River, to our room (basic with comfortable beds, hot showers, and extra towels to use at the pool), to the delicious buffet style meals served in the screened dining room,... Our guide, Orlando, was friendly, full of knowledge, and attended to every need. The whole staff really was kind and helpful. Wide variety of food was served, lots of local varieties as well as easily recognizable options. I love my food to be very hot and it rarely was, but it is a buffet. Coffee was always available and tasted... More

This is a wonderful lodge. Nice, safe rooms and clean bathrooms. The food is pretty good and there is a fun little bar. Ask for the guide, Paul Hoyos. He has incredible knowledge, has a wonderful personality and is great with kids. He really knows his stuff! The dining area is a large, screened room. There are huge moths that... More

After a couple of days at the sister Explorama lodge, we spent our last two days at Ceiba Tops. That was a luxury jungle experience. Although we loved the rugged nd remote nature of Explorama, we appreciated the amenities at Ceiba Tops. You can't beat air conditioning and a pool deep in the jungle! Our room had a comfortable bed,... More

A fabulous oasis in the middle of the Amazon rainforest! Beautiful pool and the best....AIR CONDITIONING! After 2 weeks in the rainforest, air conditioning and a hot shower were heavenly! Staff was very attentive.

We were picked up at our hotel in Iquitos by Basilo, our guide for our experience at Ceiba Tops. The Lodge is beautiful with all the comforts of home. The rooms are beautiful, beds are comfortable, air conditioned (which may or may not be a plus when you are in and out in 100% humidity), and great showers. The meals... More
