We stayed here twice during the month of May as we went to the Amazon. We didn't venture out after dark as our hotel had advised The place was very clean, rooms ok and free wifi. There was a cafe/ restaurant that served great meals as we could stay in-house. The local cab guy called Carlos was amazing as he... More

First off- I came to Iquitos after having been spoiled by an excess Peruvian warmth, hospitality, and pride of country and truly pride filled accommodations in other parts (Cuzco, Aquas Calientes, Sacred Valley, and even Lima) so coming to the noisy, hot, chaotic, and somewhat run down town of Iquitos was a bit of a shock. This hotel is supposed... More

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was ok, even though the furnishings are somewhat dated. There were very few people using the pool, which is only open from 10 am till 6 pm. The WiFi was so-so, very slow in the evening, but that is a minor complaint.

Stayed here two nights on both ends of an MT Amazon Expeditions tropical fish collecting trip. First night I complained about no hot water and staff seemed totally indifferent to the problem. Second stay as I prepared to crawl into bed I discovered a cockroach under the pillow. Yuck - you seem them all over the jungle, but don't expect... More

Great staff, especially reception easy to book over the web and great to deal with in person. The rooms are clean, breakfast actually better than the El Dorado '5 start' hotel. I personally think its a little expensive for what you're getting but I'd stay there again. Hotel pick up and drop off a big bonus, a van feels much... More

Iquitos is like a big adrenaline rush and this is a pretty nice hotel to recharge in. There is a great little pool in the center where you grab a beer, enjoy super fast wifi and let your kids blow off steam in the tropical humidity. Our room was a small suite style where the kids could have their own... More

It is a lovely hotel with a pool and one of the nicest breakfasts we saw in Peru. Their mangoes and bacon were both incredible! In our first room the air conditioner was broken, which is vital in Iquitos; and it also caused it to smell funny. We were also near the front of the hotel near the street so... More

We spent one night in mid December. Our room was quiet, despite a noisy, busy street in front. A small but refreshing pool provided relief from the jungle heat and humidity, as did the reliable air conditioning. Wi Fi in every room meant fast connections and downloads. There is a 24 hour ATM at the end of the block, and... More

We only stayed a night in this hotel. The rooms are very basic but clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water (not all hotels in Iquitos can boast this!), hairdryer, safe, AC and a fridge with room for your own foods etc. Staff very pleasant and the breakfast is included - it isn't much but its ok. The location isn't... More

I have stayed here many times and it is my favorite. The service is good, the value is good, and the rooms quiet, IF you get one facing the back. Even the front ones are not bad. The breakfast is quite adequate. The desk personnel very efficient, professional, and helpful. !
