Myself & three friends stayed at this hostel for two nights, either side of our jungle visit & we weren't impressed. The owner was cold and unhelpful to us. He also seemed bitter that we had chosen to go with another company into the jungle, rather than through his own jungle company. The rooms are very basic and I wasn't... More

We're sorry to hear you were not satisfied with our service and facilities. Every bed is prepared with pillow and bedsheet. If your bed was missed, we would have happily supplied one if you had asked. We buy the best available 100% cotton bedsheets, so they do tend to "walk out" of the hostel and we do not always catch... A nice place, highly recommended for backpacking. The owner is great and caring for his guests. I'm not talking about the cat, though he is the actual ruler. All facilities a backpacker needs. Simple rooms and no hot water, but hey - it's the Amazon. Very nice kitchen and common room. No important downsides, a bit of a help-yourself kind... More

We stayed at Green Track for a week while we explored Iquitos. After a bumpy beginning due to a miscommunication wtih the taxi driver, and nearly getting kicked out because of it...we did manage to have a lovely stay in this well set up hostel! With three levels there is tons of space to hang out, including a roof top... More

Originally planned to stay here for just a couple of nights. Ended up loving Iquitos so much, we stayed a lot longer!! The people running the hostel really made it for us, they couldn't do enough to help us both in and outside the hostel. Rooms were also clean and social area cosy. Big breakfast was a definite bonus!

Stayed here 2 nights, one free night before going to the Tapiche Reserve for a 5 day stay in the jungle (out of this world awesome experience!) and on my return. The fantastic service started before I even arrived as I was picked up by the port where I had taken the boat from Leticia, Colombia. Travelling alone with a... More

I stayed much longer than expected in Iquitos because I got so comfortable at Greentrack. It's a clean, well catered for hostel centrally located in the city of Iquitos. Very tidy always and with a peaceful atmosphere, it's attracts friendly travellers and is run by really helpful, friendly people. The best thing was definitely the tasty breakfast included with the... More

I stayed at the hostel in September 2014 before and after a 5 day trip to Tapiche Reserve. The hostel is inexpensive, clean and has a friendly atmosphere. Managing staff spoke English and Spanish and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and attractions and things to look out for. I was given a front door key so... More

I stayed at green track hostel 3 days prior to and 3 days after my return from Tapiche Reserve. My room was small but clean, the couple that is running the hostel, Solei and Fernando were accommodating, sincere hardworking employees. Very knowledgeable about the area, restaurants and attractions. The hostel is located very close to everything and I being a... More

The hostal itself is pretty decent, a basic hostel with clean and spacious rooms (no lockers, but a very strict guest/door policy) and bathrooms/showers, a nice kitchen/living area and a rooftop terrace. WiFi is good. Breakfast is always fresh and tasty. Little shops and the Belen market are kind of close, the Plaza de Armas can be reached within 10... More
