Brilliant stay with amazingly helpful staff. She would order trustworthy taxis advise us of places to steer clear of and what's worth while. I lost my glasses on a fishing trip in the amazon and she offered to even come to the opticians with me but I felt like a pain to agree but then wish I accepted as I... More

We stayed here for one night in between visiting Cusco and the Amazon. The hotel is located about a 3 minute walk from the center of town, and another 2 minutes to the river's edge. This is an actual apartment building, but also has rooms by the night. The room we were originally supposed to have had electrical problems, so... More

If you want a very clean room, with a kitchenette, hot water, air conditioning, very close to the action downtown and one of the nicest owners in the world this is your place. Monica works to make sure everyone who visits her hotel feels at home. Nativa is one of the nicest and cleanest hotels in Iquitos but when you... More

We stayed at Nativa for about a week while in Iquitos. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had A/C, a mini-fridge, kitchenette area, TV and sitting area. We were on the third level and the Wi-Fi was a little spotty up there, but it worked. Overall, a nice place to stay.

We arranged airport transfer with Nativa and it was smooth and easy, 20 soles. The Nativa was everything we hoped for. Quiet, Great AC, WIFI worked like a champ. Monica and staff were so friendly and comforting. Monica speaks great english. The room was large, comfy, plenty hot water and the toilet worked. Good location, we had no trouble getting... More

I am about a month or so late posting this review, but the fact that I still am speaks for itself. Nativa Apartments is by far the most hospitable hotel in Iquitos. Blending into the hectic and somewhat sketchy looking streets, it is a hidden gem. The owner Monica makes it a point to make you feel welcome and takes... More

Deserves all the rave reviews. When we came back from the jungle with a sick kid, the owner and her team called an excellent doctor, ordered us pizza, and brought us medicine. On better days they also arranged a great moto driver (Roberto!) and travel to the airport. Our 2BR apartment was spacious, tidy, and nicely decorated, with good hot... More

Wow. Where can I begin. For starters, the rooms are great. An oasis in Iquitos, with large spacious rooms with all the amenities, great air conditioning, warm water etc. The staff is awesome here and Monica, the owner, really goes above and beyond. She is honestly the best, most helpful hotel owner I have ever encountered. She constantly helped me... More

We’re an Aussie couple winging it through Peru. We had booked online in Lima as it was one of the cheaper nicer options available in Iquitos. We were greeted by nice staff and shown to our more-than-met-expectations room. It was big, clean and had a tropical-like vibration to it. There was a part kitchen, nice bathroom, comfy bed and the... More

We stayed here a total of 3 nights and loved it! Rooms were spacious and clean, with AC, Wifi and a shower with hot water (we had been in the rainforest and this was a welcome respite). They also came with a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. Inside the rooms the noise of the mototaxis outside completely disappears. The... More
