We stayed one night prior to heading to the Amazon. The rooms are very basic, but are fair for the price. Nothing great but no problems either. Shower has hot water, which is a bonus for the area. The hotel appears to be owned by a family, who resides in the same building. The family/staff were very friendly and a... More

We stayed here for 1 night prior to heading to the Amazon. For the relatively low price we paid this was great value: the room was large, very clean and airconditioned; the reception staff were very friendly and helpful; and it is only a few blocks from the town square, restaurants, banks & ATMs. We would not hesitate staying here... We chose this place based on TA rating. Yes Monica the host was very helpful, as other reviewers' comments. However, the room we were in had the worst bed ever. Bed frame squeaked Everytime we moved and the spring mattress is long due to be replaced. If you like a good night sleep, forget this place.

On my third trip to Iquitos in less than a year, I decided to step up from the adequate Hotel La Casona, and go for the top rated Nativa Apartments. I was not disappointed. :-) Yes, I paid just a few bucks more... but having natural light in my room, a kitchenette, more comfort and space equaled a very satisfying... More

Great accommodations and friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and well managed. They will arrange a taxi for you from and to the airport. The wifi is on all three levels of hotel so make sure you sign into the one for your floor. It took me awhile to figure out why the signal was so poor when it was right... More

We stayed more then one week at Nativa's. We tried 3 different room ; they all are really comfortable, clean, spacious, with AC and great shower (hot water). But, the rooms upstairs are a little more quiet ; Iquitos is a city with a lot of noises. The team is extremely nice and they are like family. They have pets... More

We used this as a port in the night, so to speak, as we headed to the amazon. But it was clean and comfortable and couldn't fault it. They were prepared to store our excess luggage we didn't need in the jungle. I would recommend this hotel as a practical choice

Everything was clean, price was fair.. i think we spent about 50USD per night for 1 bed. Location is okay. We took a motorcycle taxi everywhere. Iquitos is mostly used as a hub for tourists to transit into the amazon. Beware of the local markets, and do not purchase souvenirs made of animal products. I saw many ocelot fur bracelets,... More

We stayed at Nativa apartments after spending six nights in the rain forest. There is nothing better than air conditioning and a hot shower, both at the apartment, after being subjected to the rain forest. The room was very nice, cool, and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and I enjoyed interacting with all of their animals. They gave us... More

Of all the places we stayed in Peru these last two weeks, Nativa was an excellent value! Safe and friendly. Private rooms with bath and kitchen. Helpful staff. Worth noting that you need to find your own breakfast since the rooms have kitchens. Maria's cafe is nice and only a few blocks away. Worth noting that the beds could use... More
