We arrived to the Iquitos office to be told that we were going to be the first ones to sleep in the "new lodge", which turned out to be a construction site. Huts were unfinished and charmless, the jungle had been cut brutally around the area. There was no furniture in the common areas except for a simple common table... More

Our guide, Edwin, was excellent! He had so much knowledge and experience guiding and was able to share this with us. We had a very short time in the jungle due to flight connections but he was able to make the most of them. We saw a "petting farm" for lack of a better term on the way to the... More

Logistics aren't sufficient for a great trip, but they are necessary. Maniti was where they said they would be, when they said they would be, and the service was exactly as-advertised. Our guide was Edwin, a free-lance contractor hired by Maniti and other companies. He is excellent. We were only in Iquitos for one night and the jungle for one... More

We bought the 5d/4n in Pacaya Samiria reserve. The guide was excelent, he spoted many animals, the landscape was wonderful, we would rate the tour 4/5. But, as the raining season finished late this year, the program expected wasn't possible (even if they didn't say that at the office). Because of that we spent the last night in the lodge... More

Arrived to be told (obviously enough when we went on the river) the reserve was flooded, but we could still take it or use the lodge option; so glad that we did. Señor Edwin was our most capable and knowledgable guide. Went across the Amazon with 100mm freeboard and canoed the jungle trails (told you that it was flooded).Saw a... More

(We did the 5 nights six days Pacaya Samiria Adventure camping trip with Maniti) Don't get carried away by their well-organized website, you are better off hiring a local guide in Iquitos at 1/10th of the cost than pre arranging your trip with Maniti and here is why: Debit Machine Not Working: As many others have already mentioned their debit... Hello ZabedAkbar, There are many tour operators that offer lower prices than what we offer. Hiring these types of tour guides in Iquitos may save you money but you run a serious risk of being cheated and lied to. Unfortunately there are too many "tours" being operated by people who are unknowledgable and unregistered with the tourism board in Peru.... More

I spent close to a week at the lodge...definitely more time than required to take in what this tour has to offer. The lodge was a sublet and not run by the tour company. With a couple exceptions the meals were very bland and quite poor by the Peruvian standards I had come to appreciate. Stale bread, fried eggs and... More

Did a 3 day/ 2 night experience and it was just what we hoped for... we had basically a private tour guide and were able to tell him what we wanted to do, like going swimming in the Amazon watch instead of hiking. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and as very kind to us. We also had some down time... More

Stayed at the lodge for 4 nights/5 days. The lodge is clean, comfortable and netted to keep the nasties out. Food was fresh & delicious - no chance of starving. All the staff were friendly & accommodating. Was like "one big happy family" and you were made to feel very welcomed. Had the most amazing time with our guide Renee... More

Found about Maniti in the web and ordered the 3 days \ 2 nights camping trip. While I arrived to Iquitos, the Maniti driver picked me up from the airport and brought me to the hotel. The day after, I was picked up to Maniti office and learned that as a result of the flood in the Amazon during the... More
