The rooms were clean and well maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, I wish I could eat like that every day. There is a nice sense of community in the camp, everything is open and welcome. Our guide Homero was fantastic and so knowledgeable about the Amazon, I would request him if I went back.

Our trip with Maniti camp was everything we expected. I may have given it a 3.5 (pretty good), but that wasn't an option. Rating just our guide, Miguel, it would be a 5, and the guide makes the trip! We did the 3 day, 2 night camping trip to the Pacaya reserve. In such a short time, one can't get... More

A group of 7 of us did the 4 nights, 5 day tour and had the most amazing time! Despite the sticky heat and Mosquitos, I absolutely loved my experience in the jungle and hope to go back. Maniti camp expeditions was excellent! We were picked up from our hostel to start the tour and met our amazing guide Ashuco.... More

Stayed 3days/2nights... overall, very happy with the experience. The accommodations are very basic, don't expect anything like a hotel in the city. Our guide (Edwin) was excellent, I highly recommend him. The activities were lots of fun and the food they serve is authentic and very good

I went to the jungle for a 3 day/2 night tour and had an incredible experience. Although there were few people at the lodge and I was skeptical at first with being a solo traveler, my excellent guide Homero reassured me that I would be safe, and he was right. Accommodations are basic, but there is electricity for 3 hours... More

We booked the 5d/4n camping Pacaya Samirya trip. Having travelled on similar tours in Africa I can compare the logistics and service. Our guide was Achuko (Asuncion), a very nice 50-year old jungle native who was excellent at spotting animals for us and gave us a lot of useful explanations. For the rest: the agency was open when we came... More

Overall, the trip was great. We stayed for 3d/2n. The rooms were sufficient, but in no way luxurious. I spent most of time in the hammock room, a great place to rest and relax. If you're looking for a high action tour and not the type of person who does well with downtime, this isn't the one for you. We... More

We arrived to the Iquitos office to be told that we were going to be the first ones to sleep in the "new lodge", which turned out to be a construction site. Huts were unfinished and charmless, the jungle had been cut brutally around the area. There was no furniture in the common areas except for a simple common table... More

Our guide, Edwin, was excellent! He had so much knowledge and experience guiding and was able to share this with us. We had a very short time in the jungle due to flight connections but he was able to make the most of them. We saw a "petting farm" for lack of a better term on the way to the... More

Logistics aren't sufficient for a great trip, but they are necessary. Maniti was where they said they would be, when they said they would be, and the service was exactly as-advertised. Our guide was Edwin, a free-lance contractor hired by Maniti and other companies. He is excellent. We were only in Iquitos for one night and the jungle for one... More
