Great bi-lingual staff, new lodge and overall professional tour for what you'd desire with an Amazon River excursion. I would recommend this company to anyone planning a trip to Iquitos as the staff genuinely care about whether or not you enjoy your time with them.

The good: We were picked up from the airport and taken to the office to pay for the tour, right after they took us to our hostel, picked us up the next morning and once the tour was done they took us back to our hostel and even dropped us off at the airport the next day. Monkey Island lived... More

Rooms are basic. Cold water only in the rooms, but you really don't need hot water. The food was great- reflective of the environs- fresh vegetables, fruit and lots of fish from the Amazon. I would highly recommend Edwin as a guide. He is so excited to show people his world, he's super knowledgable of the plants, people, river. He... More

We walked into the office and arranged a great deal for a 3 day 4 night stay leaving the next day. We found the experience good as it was an easy introduction to the amazon for us who had no proper gear or clothing. Lots of activities to choose from according to your comfort level and ability and the guides... More

I did a 5 day 4 night stay at Maniti Camp and it was fantastic. They responded quickly to all of my emails leading up to the trip, when I arrived at the airport in Iquitos someone was there to pick me up and take me to the lodge. The lodge is not a luxury hotel but it was comfortable... More

My fiancé and I did a three week trip through Peru and finished off the adventure with a 3D 2N Amazon stay through Maniti tours. From start to finish this was this was a fantastic experience. Everyone was very extremely friendly and professional. We had Homer as a guide and he was phenomenal! Such a knowledgable and kind man. Once... More

Once we paid the initial 50% deposit we never heard from Maniti again and they didn't answer the phone or reply to emails so we were quite concerned but as we had booked our flights and a hotel in Iquitos for our arrival we travelled with one eye on possibly having to look for alternatives when we got there. BUT... More

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, I wish I could eat like that every day. There is a nice sense of community in the camp, everything is open and welcome. Our guide Homero was fantastic and so knowledgeable about the Amazon, I would request him if I went back.

Our trip with Maniti camp was everything we expected. I may have given it a 3.5 (pretty good), but that wasn't an option. Rating just our guide, Miguel, it would be a 5, and the guide makes the trip! We did the 3 day, 2 night camping trip to the Pacaya reserve. In such a short time, one can't get... More
