I had the sheer pleasure of stumbling upon Maniti C. E. (Camp expidition red.), by sheer luck. After organizing and making the trip fit with my needs and wishes, with Guido, the owner. I ventured out to what has to be, one of the best and most interesting experiences of my life so far. Since my spanish is somewhat lacking,... More

The lodge is in a beautiful remote location about a two hour boat ride from Iquitios. It's settled on a quiet channel of the River right next to the rainforest, it is rustic, yet comfortable and tranquil. The guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. My friend and I had our own guide so it made for a very personal experience.... More

I shall always remember these four days and three nights I was able to stay with Maniti. Réné, our guide was extremely knowledgable of our surroundings, he was able to answer just about any question my inquisitive mind could ask. He and the rest of the crew were most helpful. I particularly loved the simple living lifestyle, it reminded me... More

Having never experienced this sort of vacation this was the start of a month long visit to South America. We were picked up the airport as promised taken down to the boat and after a hour or so ride we started our adventure. Rene our guide was knowledgable and flexible as to what are needs were and what we wanted... More

I enjoyed my 2d/1n stay immensely, having booked especially for the night to coincide with New Year's Eve. It was my first stay in the jungle and I am not a particularly intrepid soul, but I always felt comfortable and well taken care of. The trip went very smoothly and I did not have any of the problems often associated... More

We spent 7 days in the Amazon with Maniti Camp back in September 2013. The camp organisor (Guido) picked us up at the Airport of Iquitos only by an email request. Nothing was booked or paid for yet. Our guide ''Achuco'' was so pationate and knowledgable we called him our personal George of the jungle. Since our spanish language skills... More

My husband and I had a few complications getting to Iquitos and the company was exceptionally flexible, re-arranging our itinerary to still allow us to do what we were most interested in, picked us up at the airport, and arranged a hotel room for the night since our flight was delayed by 9 hours. Our guide was easy to understand,... More

My friend and I experienced the 4D/3N Exotic Iquitos in Nov 2013. Maniti was very accommodating. They catered the trip to us and picked us up from the airport when we needed to be picked up and took us back to the airport when we needed to leave. Yummy breakfast, lunch and dinner was prepared and served to us everyday.... More

My experience with Maniti was really great: I decided to spend 5D/4N with the "full camping" formula, sleeping only in tents or boat. I was well impressed with the kindness of Jailo and with the extreme flexibility of the program (I chose where to sleep, where to go and how to reach the forest - I travelled there by boat... More
