We participated in a 5 day trip with Maniti Expeditions at the beginning of January, and our guide Ashoku was excellent, he had incredible knowledge, enthusiasm, and expertise. The five day program was filled with activities, every day there were jungle hikes, canoe trips, river boat trips, animal spotting excursions, fishing for piranhas, swimming with the pink dolphins, and a... Our guide, Ashoku, made this trip amazing. This guys passion for the jungle was amazing. It was like he was experiencing it for the first time with us, yet with the experience of a regular crocodile dundee. I cant express how kind and genuine the people of this village were. The jungle and its sorroundings were amazing but what has... More

My fiance and I decided to book a 50 day trip to the Amazon to research medicine and experience nature. After staying many places we came across Maniti and decided to give them a try. We stayed at the beautiful Tucan Lodge and toured the Amazon with our guide Achuco. We studied Ayahuasca and jungle medicines with an 89yr old... More

We found Richard to be very attentive, flexible, and able to tailor a tour that really suited our needs and budget. We were able to combine a flight over the Nasca lines and visit to the museums of Nasca with an exciting dune buggy ride by the Oasis near Ica, and a fascinating boat trip to the nearby bird islands,... An amazing experience! A real flavour of living in the jungle! Guides were knowledgable and friendly. The trips were tailor made for us and any suggestion acted upon. Food was freshly caught, cooked and ample. Difficult to get any soft drinks other than water and tea which were always available. A truly memorable experience. Thank you! More

My wife, brother and I spent 7 days with Maniti Camp expeditions in late November. We stayed a couple nights in the lodge and on short hikes were able to see all kinds of animals including river dolphins, sloths, iguanas, tarantulas, giant frogs, and countless kinds of birds. Our guide caught a sloth, baby iguana, and tarantulas for us to... More

My daughter and I stayed on a 5 day 4 night package. One of the most memorable holidays we ever had! The owner, Guido, and his staff really looked after us and made the trip a very authentic Amazon junlge experience. However, we got stung on the internet booking rates which seem to be about double the rates on the... More

i had a wonderful five day stay in the jungle near iquitos. accommodations were good; food was delicious and carefully prepared. although the price was a bit on the high side, it was completely worth it; but neither was the trip overly touristy or contrived. my guide was kind, sweet, deeply knowledgable and utterly enthusiastic. i was super well taken...
