I stayed three nights at Chullachaqui. It was a fantastic experience. The lodge was comfortable, clean and free of bugs which seems amazing considering where it is situated. The tours in canoe to various parts of the Amazon river, Tapira tributary and smaller waterways were fantastic. Our guide and his uncle were really nice and knowledgeable. The walks were fascinating... More

My friend and I stayed at the lodge for 3 days and 2 nights, and it was the best part of my trip to Peru! Our guide, Carlos, was amazing. He taught us so much about the Amazon and made sure we got to see everything that we wanted (sloths, dolphins, etc). Even though there was a decent amount of... More

The lodge itself is very basic, the rooms are just rooms with beds, a place to sleep. There is no electricity, just candle light at night (although if you need to charge your cameras they will turn on the generator for you). Although at night you can hear rats scurrying around, I actually saw one. The rooms connect to a... More

The lodge is really nice and big enough to chill out in the hammocks that are available. The food is really good and the people very friendly. The guides are very good and know a lot. They are also open to whatever you want to do. This is definitely recommendable. We enjoyed our trip a lot and I think you... More

I arrived in Iquitos and went to the Jungle the day after not really knowing what to expect. But what an amazing time I had, Raoul (The Smaller one, there's two!) was our guide & he was just the most amazing man, he's from the jungle himself & still lives there, he showed me around his home and I met... It was a really good experience and knowledge of the guide is amazing. All meals are included. On the trip we didn't have to pay for anything extra, all was included. There was some things that was a little anoing like there was no place to watch the sky, and the toilets smells a bit, but there are toilets the... More

I stayed in the lodge for 5 days and likes almost every part of it. Raúl is very nice and has lots of knowledge about the nature. He told us so much bout the animals and their behavior and locations, plants and their medicinal or other use and the local people and their culture I saw many birds, spiders (tarantulas),... More

Unfortunatly we selected the wrong tour. Exploring the Amazone was something I looked forward to for a long time. Of course it is nice to be in the green lung of the world, but the lodge was awfull. It isn't maintained at all. It's dirty (cigarette buds is the shower, moldy mattresses, ....) and half of the lodge was flooded.... More

While we are in the winter season it is the constant rains and rising river. Part of the house was flooded, right! Such is the nature and against it can not do anything. So we worked with the rooms that were not flooded; maintenance and cleaning is done by the staff of the house daily, we understand your concern, and... More

We spent 4 days in the lodge and had the most amazing and unforgettable experience, swimming close to wild pink dolphins, seeing sloths and baby cayman as well as getting to hang out and chat with local people. Our guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable and was always happy to fit the tour around what the group wanted. The lodge is... More
