What a lovely place in the jungle!! It is just so nice to wake up in the morning to sounds of nature...birds, frogs, crickets, rooster, etc. You KNOW you are in the rainforest when you hear them all day long. Our room was clean and the bed was pertty comfortable. The windows look out to the forest of trees and... More

We did the 4 night, 5 day piraña tour! It was great but that's because we has a local snake expert on the trip with us!! He taught us a lot, he taught us about the green leaf viper snake! Then he found one for us to see!! The guide was super nice but he was a little quieter so... More

From the moment we met at the airport, all the details were organized very well. 'Local taxi' trip to Nauta and boat to the lodge were on time and efficient. The lodge was basic but what do you expect in the jungle? At the lodge the people were very friendly, the food was great and the cold beer very welcome... More

We stayed at Cumaceba Lodge for three nights while in the Amazon. Oh boy, what an experience! Had a single bed bungalow, screened windows on every wall which allowed the night breeze to come through. Definitely a nice welcome to beat the humidity that is the Amazon. Cold water showers which was greatly appreciated given the heat and to my... More

The lodge is very pretty, clean and surrounded by jungle sounds. The rooms are clean and well protected from mosquitos, nice view to the jungle trees. Comfortable. The staff is always there for whatever you need. The food is very well prepared, varied and authentic to the region. Delicious. The drinking water could be colder. Our guide Golber taught us... More

The owner has similar lodge in the area with about team of 16 guides, the lodge like many others are located 45min by boat from Iquito, all the excursions are within 1 hours from where you stay. This is not your typical "resort" ( is not like Costa Rica's if you know what I mean), from the food to the... More

We stayed in the Piranha Lodge for 4 days and 3 nights. It is in the amazon reserve Pacaya Samiria. Our guide Luis was very knowledgeable, not just about the jungle but also about life in Peru or ÿpolitics. He was one of the best guides we have ever had in our years of traveling. The employees always went out of... More

I loved staying at this lodge. The guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable. They made the experience memorable filling the day with activities that stay with you. I enjoyed having free time to relax in the hammocks and the food they served was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this lodge.

We stayed in the Cumaceba Lodge for 4 days and 3 nights. It is about an hour away from Iquitos by boat. We were received with a local drink and we were explained how everything was going to work. Breakfast was at 7:30, lunch at 1:30, and dinner at 7:30, and the food was delicious! They even made special food... More

We had 3D/2N program in Cumaceba Lodge and we enjoyed every moment. Lodge is rather rustic, but very suitable for a jungle - it is exotic to be couple of days without hot water and electricity in the bungalow. Would be perfect, if there were a swimming pool, however it is possible to refresh yourself with cold shower or even... More
