We stayed almost 10 nights at this hostel and we enjoyed our stay!! The location is realy nice in San Blas, plenty of shops within walking distance. The personnel was really nice and very hepfull! We had to come back only for one day, before catching a night bus, and the personnel let us the access to the kitchen and... More

Out of all the hostels in Peru, this was the one that left a lot to be desired. It was a cool setup with the courtyard and the room itself (a private) was fine. However, the bathroom was tiny and the drain in the shower barely worked. The beds and pillows are like sleeping in the ground and the walls/windows... More

We stayed for five nights in total, my girlfriend and I, and a friend. Room: We had booked the matrimonial with private bathroom to start with, for a night before starting the Salkantay tour. Unfortunately when we arrived (from another hostel in Cusco) we were told the room wasn't available as the current occupants had extended their stay. We settled... More

We stayed five nights at this hostel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, in the beautiful bohemian neighborhood of San Blas. Many sites within walking distance and plenty of delicious restaurants right down the street. Overall the staff at this location were really friendly and would help out in any way possible. Our room had two twin... More

Made the mistake of booking this place for several nights. The staff here are useless - they don't understand much aside from how to give you your key. The water was almost never warm, the heat barely worked, any noise made by people in the complex echos into each room at all times in the night/morning. The breakfast is stale... More

Very peaceful, quiet street. Definitely easy to get a good nights sleep. Great location in San Blas . Staff is super friendly. Place is very clean. One of the best deals I've heard of here in Cusco (considering some of the rooms have heaters which you normally only get in more upscale and quite a bit more expensive hotels). It's... More

Very nice hostel in Cuzco ! First of all, it's really value for money. Double rooms are large, clean and quite comfortable. Staff member are very nice and helpful and the hostel is located in a very quiet street, near from the Plaza de San Blas. Good to know : sometimes the hot water is not working (it's a problem... Our hostel, the Pirwa in San Blas is totally sufficient. It's not amazing by any means, but we had a private room with a private bathroom (with hot water) and a space heater and a light breakfast. The staff is lovely, it's super quiet (just what we needed) with a nice little central courtyard and shared common area, and it's... More

The housekeeper has stolen my ipod and my celphone an the boss of the hostel was not helpful at all! The staff was very unfriendly! Be careful with your valuables in this hostel or take a different one!

The staff are very sweet - the women running it are all lovely and incredibly friendly. This is the quieter of the two Pirwa Hostels in Cusco, with a lovely small courtyard with hammocks and swing benches which gather most of the days sun. If you want a party then there is a board showing you 'whats happening' in the... More
