I was worried about the showers because of some earlier reviews (for me, showers are the most important thing!), but the staff assured me that there shouldn't be any problems because they'd just gone under a renovation a month or two before. In the end, the showers were good, and the room was sparse but good for my needs. One... More

Great stay and highly recommended. Price is very adequate for the accommodations. We were able to drop our backpacks for safekeeping during the day in Cuzco while waiting for transportation, even though our booking was several days later; Ms Zenaida (at the front desk) was extremely helpful to make that happen. When we came back to Cuzco for the scheduled... More

The actual hotel could be quite good, colonial with an open courtyard, but it isn't maintained, it's shabby and dirty, with wires hanging out of receptacles. Depending on the room the restaurant noise can be too loud to sleep. The wifi is iffy, but if you move around you can get reception. I would consider staying there again because of... More

Price pretty good, staff friendly and decent English, decent but slow breakfast. One set of 2 plugs in rooms, no heat, no TV. Rooms near restaurant have gross fish smell. Showers are tricky, need to barely turn know and use lowest water pressure in order to get hot water; the more you turn up the pressure, the colder it gets.... More

Excellent location, right in Plaza de Armas, with an incredible view on the Cathedral from the breakfast restaurant, friendly staff..but all the peruvians are the same :), a very good price .. but if you can accept a few negatives : we had to use duct tape to close our window as the locker was missing, the shower was an... We booked this place for the location, which is really the only thing they have going for them. The hostal is inside a restaurant called Plus and it was hard to tell we had the right spot at first. Our room was a matrimonial with one large bed and there was no room for anything else. The bathroom had off... More

The location definitely can't be beat, but other than that, find yourself something better. The hostel is freezing cold, and is basically built like an amphitheater. We heard every word anyone said the entire time we stayed. The staff had nothing to say about the constant yelling by other guests at 5 am that would wake everyone else up. Of... More

Potentially this could be a fantastic hotel. It is on the Plaza de Armas (main square) so you just walk out the door and you have everything you need and fantastic sights! This is about all it has going for it though. It needs a lot of work. The showers are terrible. They dribble and are either freezing or boiling... More

Stayed at this hostel for 3 nights in a double-bed private room. The location is perfect since it is exactly in the main square on Cusco and at walking distance from clubs, bars, restaurants, shops and touristic agencies. The room was roomy enough and clean since the staff would take care of it once a day. It had free wifi... More

I stayed there for two days... The hostel is well located in Plaza de Armas, Cuzco, but that´s about it... They serve the breakfast late in the morning, so you could not have it because the expeditions or tours are expected you to leave early in the morning... There are much better places in Plaza de Armas, Cuzco...
