My experience in Cuzco in Pirwa Hostels COLONIAL. We stayed on the first floor, suites room couples, our experience was pretty good. I found the Hostel very cool, with a BAR with LED TVS, with cool music, a TV area with lots of DVD's with cable TV, and a POOL and lots of fun around. Computers to access the Internet... More

I ended up staying here for 10 nights. The staff were friendly, helpful n nice. Rooms are clean too. Breakfast was good but it would be better if it's vary everyday. It's located at a very centre area. It would be better if there's someone working at the bar always, because it's hard to get a drink.

Im very happy with that i stayed at the Pirwa hostel at the san fransisco square. The location is great, the wifi as well, the computers are ok, and the breakfast is very standard as well. The staff however, the two girls working daytime have been helping me out so much, which im very grateful for. Booked for one night... More

Stayed in Pirwa San Francisco for the first time in January 2010 and came back a year after and in January 2013. Great location, a bit above average in price but totally worth it The hostels shared rooms are spacious as are the beds, lockers, bathrooms and public areas. Warm running water at any time, constant cleansing of bathrooms and... More

Great location, nice staff, showers are hot when it's not too busy but it's so noisy. Guests have to hang out downstairs by the reception because the bar, which has nice sofas and could be a nice hang out place, is really really loud. The music starts at 7.30 in the morning! Staff don't seem to notice that the the... More

Stayed here over 5 nights before and after our trek to Machu Picchu. Hostel is great, beds are super comfortable, breakfast is adequate, and the staff is great. The owner (I think) is especially great. My friend and I asked to borrow the Canadian flag that they had on display to bring with us to Machu Picchu, and she allowed... More

Location is ok but apart from that, not too many compliments! Rooms were extremely cold. The kitchen is tiny, and ill equipped which made making food terribly difficult! Quite unclean too...... vomit was left in the bathroom sink all evening/night long despite a receptionist ´cleaning´ the hostel the entire time. Absolutely disgusting.

Good evening, and thank you for your helpful feedback- we're sorry that you were disappointed in your stay with us. Regarding the cold, I'm afraid that as we are located in a large colonial-era home, and one can't alter historical buildings too much, that there is little we can do to warm the common areas. We do have alpaca and... More

I love this hostel. I visit Cusco at least once a month and this is the first hostel I've been to where the rooms are not freezing at night. This is a huge plus as Cusco is a cold place at night and catching a cold is way too easy here. The staff are helpful and the hostel is spotless.... More
