Having stayed at Amanecer en el Sol before, I booked it again for my family's one night in Cusco. It's a simple, but nice hotel, and has all that travelers need : comfy beds & hot water! There are TVs in the rooms, wifi, water for sale in the lobby, and even tea for 1 sol if you want something... More

Very nice situation but the worst hotel that I had during my trip in Peru. Cold, dirty, spots in the towels, noisy, terrible service. Bad breakfast, the bread was old and everything was dirty. You had better to stay in a hostel. They class it 3 stars I would not give a half star.

The hotel is on a small street called San Andreas about a 10 minute walk to the main square. And while the front desk was very helpful and accommodating the rooms are basic, almost threadbare. Altough for $30USD it was a good value. My first room only had windows that opened up into the hallway and no dresser or closet.... More
