Had a reasonably good stay , but their breakfast was terrible. Well situated and close to the main square. Okay for the purpose of an overnight stay on way to Machu Pichu. Proximity to the street was the cause of much noise in the evening. Good variety of restaurants to choose from in the vicinity.

The acoustics in the hotel are terrible. you can hear everything in a room from the other side of the hotel. The hotel is the base point for many groups leaving for and returning from the ince trail, early in the morning, and thus very noisy. On the plus side is the location-near plaza de armas. The wi-fi in the... More

Stayed with Kids for 3 nights . The hotel was DEPRESSING, Smelly rooms, water pools in the washroom , windows have no locks and open in to the veranda with no air circulation , felt as if I was sleeping in a jail cell. TV is installed so high near the ceiling that your neck strains in minutes. After enjoying... More

This place is woeful. We stayed in two rooms in this hotel, and both were as bad as each other. There is absolutely no acoustic isolation throughout the entire building to the point where you can hear bowel movements from guests three doors down. The rooms have no external windows and the enclosed corridors reverberate sound like the inside of... More

This was our hotel stay for 4 nights with Tucan Tours. Quaint, clean and quiet and located just a short walk from the main town plaza area, markets, restaurants and bars. Shop here for your Alpaca goodies... some great merchandise can be found. Breakfast is adequate but not fancy. Staff were helpful at all times and were obliging when asked... More

Hot water isn't a consistent feature here but then neither is water in general (several cold showers and one day of no water at all in room). The rooms at the front and back of the hotel are impossible to sleep in due to the noise from the surrounding streets. Breakfast was not great. Lots of little steps to trip... More

This was the first place we stayed along our travels and stayed with Tucan/adventure tours as this was where our group meets and stays before lares trek. Good location as you are right near the main square with lots of restaurants/bars/clubs. What you would expect from a 3 star hotel do nothing fancy but clean and has everything you need.... More

I stayed there before a hike, through the hiking tour company and enjoyed my stay very much. I had a room in the middle of everything and didn't have problems with noise or anything. Hot water, clean room and really good and friendly service from the reception.

I can not recommend this place. It's very loud because most rooms have their windows to the atrium. So you also do not get fresh air. When we were there, there was a very strong gas smell which did not bother the staff at all. It was really bad. The breakfast is simple but ok.

I stayed here twice and it was a pretty good hotel. Looks great with rooms opening onto inner courtyard. My main problem with the first stay was from outside noise. The window looked onto a back street and the continuous deep bass sound from music was all night (and I mean ALL). Fortunately, the second stay was in the centre... More
