El Mariscal was excellent - newly refurbished, very nice rooms with large bed and hot shower, modern decorated large communal area and breakfast room, safe and quiet neighborhood only 10min walk from the main plaza (slightly uphill, so if you have problems with walking or encounter altitude sickness take a taxi). The staff - and particularly Elizabeth - were fantastic;... More

The moment we stepped foot in El Mariscal, we felt so welcome! Beautiful rooms, wonderful service - felt just like home! Complimentary breakfast was delicious, fresh and with a beautiful view. Our host was the most hospitable and welcoming. Slightly outside the city center, but an easy 10min walk to the main square.

This is a beautiful new little hotel It is in a completely safe and quiet part of the San Blas neighborhood. Our rooms were lovely and spotless. Plenty of blankets and Tv channels in English. Good internet. Spotless hot shower. Beautiful lobby. Breakfast is not great. I would recommend going to Jacks instead. Thanks to Elizabeth, the owner we had... More

Three of us stayed here for a total of two nights. The owner was incredibly kind, and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. The showers were hot, there were safes in the room. Great value, will absolutely stay again if in Cusco

The hotel is brand new, staff very helpful and friendly, good wifi, average breakfast (however I would say it's good considering what you get in other places) and location is a few blocks away from de Plaza de Armas (city centre) but it's up hill. I would definitely recommend it though.

The hotel is located at San Blas district, it s up on a hill and it is literally 5-7 minutes walking from Plaza de Armas. San Blas is a quiet and less crowded area, comparing to the crowded centre, with nice coffeeshops and little stores The views from up there are very nice. The room was very spacy and clean.... More

We only stayed a night in this BnB but had no complaints at all. Decent sized room in an area which is a 10-15 minute walk from the Plaza. Going to the plaza is a downhill walk but coming back in uphill and may be taxing for some people. The lady who owns this place speaks good english and is... More

I'm an avid reader of reviews and always search extensively before choosing a hotel when I travel. In the case of El Mariscal Cusco, I read lots of reviews and decided it was a great deal. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I realized that I'd made the absolute wrong choice. It appears the hotel is currently under construction --... More

Comfortable place to stay while you explore Cusco. As other reviews mention, it's difficult to find but you will be happy you did. The rooms are large and clean, beds are comfortable and showers are hot. Breakfast is included - eggs, rolls, coffee and juice. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. Note -... More

The hotel is actually around the corner from where you would expect; while walking down Lucrepata you actually have to make a little left and then another little left to get to it, and THERE IS NO SIGN. the door simply has a small "F-6" indicating the hostel. It is secure and comfortable. The rooms are fairly large and ours... More
