The best we had in Peru. Perfectly located close to the Plaza de Armas. The rooms with balconies are beautifully furnished and decorated, very big with same spacious bathrooms and fireplace. The rooms are warm but you still get your hot bed bottle at night - which feels additionally cozy. The breakfast is delicious with lots of healthy choices such... More

A magnificent hotel, only 11 suites located right in the center of the city. The place is more than you can ask for, all the rooms are suites decorated in an absolutely lovely way, with everything you could ask and more. Great beds, amazing bathroom, wonderful food and a superb staff that make you feel at home away from home.... More

Both myself and my wife are in complete agreement that this is the finest hotel we've had the pleasure of staying at. We spent a total of four nights here, two pre-Inca Trail and two post-Inca Trail, and enjoyed every second. The hotel (home) has been exquisitely restored and is tastefully decorated / filled with some amazing pieces of Peruvian... More

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review. Inkaterra La Casona is a striking 16th century mansion that has been carefully restored to retain its historical heritage. It operates as a private manor for a small limited number of guests and is the first Relais & Chateaux property in Peru. We are very glad that... More

Loved, loved, loved this hotel. Only 11 rooms. Very intimate & special. This was once the home of one of the original conquistadors who conquered the Incas, Diego de Almagro. We loved the antiques throughout the property, as well as in our room. The charm of the old is combined with the new. The bathroom was huge. And next to... More

This is a stunning hotel right in the centre of Cuzco (which is an excellent city in itself). You get in by knocking on the imposing wooden door and wait to be admitted. It doesn't feel like you are entering a hotel. Rooms are huge. I suppose you might get noise from the city but (apart from the odd firework)... More

Arriving at Inkaterra La Casona in Cusco following a long trip from Santiago, Chile was like arriving into a calm safe harbour. Coming through the heavy teaked door into the lobby where one is greeted with a charming team of staff members that whisk away your bags, provide a warm face washer and after formalities take you through the Spanish-inspired... Magnificent boutique-hotel renovation, conserving all the character and charm of the house of one of original conquistadors. Coupled with characteristic Relaix Chateaux brilliant service and food...and right in heart of classic Cusco

Wow! I promise you that you will love this hotel! It's just everything – the service, the room amenities, the strong free WiFi, the service! I did a lot of research before deciding between Inkaterra La Casona, Hotel Monasterio, and Palacio Nazarenas (all of which are in the same square across the street from each other). We made the right... More

This hotel is amazing. The rooms were by far the best we stayed in during our 8 days in Peru. And the service and location just put this hotel over the top. There is no way to talk about Inkaterra without talking about the rooms. A king-sized bed, a fireplace, a two-person tub, a separate shower, and all the furnishings... More

An unforgettable experience. Everything was perfect and the staff were so helpful. Location was just a few minutes from the main square. Quiet and peaceful. An old colonial mansion, refurbished and modernized, stayed in two different suites and both were exceptional!
