Fantastic place to stay with discreet impeccable service. Comfortable rooms with everything needed - though you need to look behind the wooden doors which disguise cupboards, tv and other facilities! Delicious food with ample breakfast and adequate though not extensive dinner menu (as befits a small restaurant offering fresh food).

Warm, charming and welcoming--with the feel of the lovely private home it once was (in fact guests still knock to come in). Stone, wood, deep colors all add to the character. Public spaces are beautiful and comfortable and staff were attentive to all of our needs. We sat by the fire for a late tea the first night and had... More

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel, not that you feel it is a hotel, its more like staying at someones beautiful home. There is no check in desk, no reception to speak of, just large comfy sofas , fireplaces, and handsome antiques, and paintings. The location is perfect, central, but quite. We had a ground floor room, it was... More

We stayed two nights in this Spanish hacienda turned hotel and they were amazing. Fireplace, sofa set, breakfast table, flatscreen, floor to ceiling marble bathroom with soaker tub. This is a private hotel so you can't get in without knocking. Each room enters from the patio there is a nice restaurant in the hotel. It is centrally located making museums... More

This hotel is something else........... Massive room, secluded from the city yet tucked right in there. Beautiful ceramic tiles, amazing wood work, Spanish courtyard..... Stop reading this and just go.....

We spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel. It is in a very central location, giving good access for exploring the centre of Cusco. Beautiful furnishings and traditional decor provide a great atmosphere, whilst the rooms still provided all the modern facilities for a comfortable stay. We had a ground floor suite (no 4) which was spacious and well appointed.... More

perfect end to out visit to Peru. This hotel met all our expectations. Incredibly large and comfortable room w fire place. The best bed on our trip. Coming from nyc the bathroom was nearly the size of our apartment, with separate large bath. Like our other hotels , the turn down service included hot water bottles. The breakfast was excellent.... Travelling in South America can be a unknown experience and it is really nice to have a luxury hotel to return to at the end of the day. This hotel is located right in the heart of Cuzco, although just far enough away from the main city to avoid all the hustle and bustle. The hotel has been created out... More

It would be hard to find two hotels so diametrically opposed in terms of quality and service than Inkaterra La Casona and Inkaterra Machu Picchu Peublo and that both hotels belong to the same owners the fact is even more remarkable. My review of the the Machu Picchu hotel can be found separately but La Casona embodies everything that a... More

This elegant old mansion was tip top in every way. Service, privacy, location, dining, comfort and beauty. Given half a chance to return to Cusco, this is the best place to stay. At the end of the day it was a pleasure to return here. Spacious rooms, great bed linens, generous soaking tub, complete with bath salt and bubble bath.... More
