I stayed here as part of a group either side of the Inca Trail. The hotel is basic but it was comfy. Well located in Cuzco, only a short walk to the main square and lots of restaurants near by. The only issue I had was on the occasion when my roommate had gone out separately to me with the... More

The rooms have nothing besides the bed. The bathroom are old, broken, broken windows, not clean. Most of the bedrooms do not have windows. The walls are cracked and full of stains. Even the furniture and towels are broken and old. The place was colder than the North Pole, so we have to ask for heaters. On the other side,... More

We stayed here on a Contiki tour whilst in Cusco and was a very nice hotel to have stayed at. It's nearby to the main attractions in Cusco e.g. Plaza de Armas and the surrounding churches, location wise it is in a fantastic place. Breakfast is good there and it just has a nice atmosphere about it. Pretty happy to... More

We stayed here 3 nights prior to Inca Trek and 2 after as part of our group. Rooms are spacious and include electric oil heater as it gets cold at night. We had no problems with hot showers although others in group complained of no hot water We were in room 207 Quiet at night and comfy beds Breakfast was... More

Centrally located, with shops and forex stalls around it, and super close to Plaza de Armas. The rooms were very spacious, some fraying around the edges, but comfortable and clean. The shower had hot water but could be intermittent. Beautiful courtyard - our room was right next to it. Fairly quiet as well, with a very efficient and friendly staff,... More

The hotel is very well located and very quiet. Our room opened onto a courtyard and it was very peaceful. Yes, the room was chilly but a heater was provided and once in bed it was great - I hate hot rooms| The staff were outstanding with their assistance. The breakfast room has an original Inca wall and looks out... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights before doing the Salkantay Trek (in room 209) and two nights at the end of my trip (in room 213). The location of the hotel was perfect. It was super close to Plaza de Aramas. The staff was very friendly and helpful with providing me with suggestions for eating and finding places... More

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Tupac. The staff were helpful and sorted out luggage that the airline had lost for me. They kept my bags secure while I was on a trek, and I returned to find them in my room. The porters were helpful. Breakfast was simple, and not particularly varied, but good enough - some room... All the same positive comments as others. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity to return to Cusco. Yes, it was cold, but the staff was so responsive to get heaters for us and the bedding was cozy; truly not a problem as it's cold anywhere there at night.

In terms of 3* hotels in Cusco you can't get much better value for money. It's got a great courtyard fantastic for chilling out in the sun, awesome Inca walls, the staff are great, very family friendly. It's only 3 blocks from the plaza, yes the rooms are basic but clean, a wee bit cold but you have a heater.... More
