We stayed here as part of a tour on 2 occasions. The first room was at the front of the hotel which was noisy all night we had also requested a double room but they were unable to provide this. The second room was also at the front of the hotel and at street level also with mould on the... More

My dad and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during our short trip to Cusco. The hotel is situated on a narrow street that initially looks far from everythign but it is actually not bad located! The hotel is within a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas and from Avenida El Sol (yes not more than... More

The hotel is located about 20 min walk to the city centre (remember the high altitude so you would be walking slowly). They have 3 floors of rooms, but to get to the 3rd floor you have to go down one level - which means you will be climbing up 4 levels in high altitude to get to the 3rd.... More

We stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour with with friends on two occasions. We all loved the hotel and it's location. Rooms were big, beds comfy, service great. All the staff had smiles. Excellent breakfast. I heard the dinner was not recommended, but we did not eat there except for breakfast. (go to Paddy's pub for dinner... More

My friends and I shared a triple room which was quite spacious and easily accommodated the 3 of us with our giant backpacks. There was adequate storage to get things out of the way. Enough plugs so we could all charge our devices. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Bathroom had plenty of room and came with nice soap... More

We stayed here as part of a tour, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bed was huge with extra pillows available in the room. The bathroom let it down, the shower wasn't very powerful. Plenty of choice available at breakfast, although things were very slow to be replaced at times. The hotel is a short walk from the main... More

Stayed here as part of package tour. Hotel by same name in Agua Caliente was quite nice. Here the room was old and smelly. We weren't there for the room so didn't complain. The next morning construction began at 6 a.m. 3 feet from our door. Asked them to wait until 7:30, they refused. Ate dinner there the first night,... More

Stayed here 2 nights during our excursion. Very well located about 10 minutes’ walk from the main square. It is an enjoyable walk with historic buildings (Inca and early colonial period) along the way. Hotel offers free WI-FI and had DISH TV. We did receive some American and English language programs. As were all the hotels we stayed in, the... More

We stayed at Hotel Taypikala following our 2 night Inca Trail trek. Rooms were spacious, clean and warm (ish). Given it was winter in Peru, rooms are almost always quite cold and you need to leave the heater on all the time. We appreciated the slightly later check-out time given to us by the hotel, as well as the reasonably... More

The rooms are simple, you'll have a space heater in colder months. The breakfast is solid, with lots of fresh fruit and juices, but they're slow to replace meat and cheese (which go quick at 630a). Free WiFi and friendly staff. My ride to airport was delayed and they helped me track down ETA. Fine place on a moderate budget.
