That's about all of the Spanish that I know. The Taypikala is a wonderful hotel, and they are located in a good area for sightseeing, walking, buying, eating, and other things. The staff helped my wife and me with directions and answered our questions intelligently. They have a computer that can be used to communicate or google. Also, they have... More

I had a very good experience in Hotel Taypikala Cusco. The hotel room was definitely clean, comfortable, and had a good staff. Its location is within a few minutes of the Plaza de Armas and all the amenities Cusco has to offer. Breakfast was delicious and it was conveniently located in the bottom floor. Very quiet and had a great... More

My boyfriend and I were exhausted from travelling in from pisaq and we checked in really late. ... and I wasn't feeling too good, so it was kind of them to allow us to go up to our room and sent someone to collect our passports to finish our registration formalities. I was thrilled to find a jacuzzi in our... More

The Hotel Taypikala Cusco had an excellent staff, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. Located walking distance to the center of Cusco's shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. Minutes by taxi to the most famous historical sites in and around Cusco. The super friendly staff speaks English and God knows how many other foreign languages. Reasonable rates with a free breakfast buffet.... More

We spent three nights here Feb 3, 4, and 5. We came from Lima after being on the sea for two weeks, so the altitude was an issue. The staff was very caring and helpful, always available to us. The location was fabulous. If you are doing OK with the altitude, the walk to the main square and really good... More

We stayed for two nights and were very happy with our stay. The staff were very friendly, the rooms nice, the breakfast which was included was good, and the location was convenient to main areas. Things that were important to us were: reliable wifi, hot water, and a warm room. The hotel proved outstanding and reliable in all these areas... More

We had two stays of two nights each, separated by a trip to Puno. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to eat and various shops. While we had our two day trip to Puno/Lake Titicaca, the hotel stored our large bags and had them ready for us on our return. The rooms... More

We were on a 3-week tour of Peru and Bolivia and stayed in three hotels in the Taypikala chain. They were all, BY FAR, the best hotels of our trip. Each one was 4-5 stars by American standards. Hotel Taypikala in Cusco is the flagship hotel and is located within walking distance of many local restaurants and historical sites. All... More
