A very comfortable hotel is located very close to the center of the city of Cusco. Its setting is very nice because it has paintings of the Incas that gives a more beautiful appearance. All the people in the hotel are very friendly.

Stayed here twice in August 2013 in two different rooms. Conveniently located close to Coricancha and Plaza de Armas in historical district of Cusco. On major road, however, no street noise heard in the two rooms we had. Arrival at peak time may result in delays, as traffic is slow in this road. They have a pretty nice patio with... More

Munay Wasi means beautiful home in Quechua and that’s what this fine hotel only a 15 minute walk from the Plaza des Armas is. Although not overly spacious, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The all you can eat breakfast will keep you going for a few hours as you explore the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in January. We felt that the location was clean, the lobby and rooms decorated in a interesting (meaning fun and unique) way. We are all about location, cleanliness and budget friendly and this site meets all of those requirements. I will add that we could hear everything from the bathroom above us. Clear as... More

Overall, the Munay Wasi was a nice option in Cuzco. The room and bathroom were very clean and ample. We stayed in a double bed room and we were not on top of each other. The bed was comfortable and the heater did a wonderful job of keeping us warm at night. I have to give kudos to the room... More

I found the bed could have been better, the rooms noisy due to the lobby location, the and the room chilly. Coca tea readily available for fatigue and altitude sickness. OK, having said all that, the location was terrific, the internet worked here better than most places, the staff hardworking and very accommodating, and really nice. They did a good... More

I was very impressed with the Hotel staff who spoke good English and ensured we had a very comfortable stay. The rooms are small but very cozy and compact. They serve breakfast from 5am to cater to tourists visiting Machu Pichhu by 6am train. I had dinner once and it was good. I would recommend this Value for Money hotel... More

The good: nice foyer with lots of plants and fountain; Service and breakfast was adequate; very nice and extrememly helpful staff; close to town within walking distance to Plaza de Armas and all the shops etc. The bad: bed was hard as a rock--felt like sleeping on a pool table; heater was on a timer and did not stay on..

We stayed here for a few nights before and after a short break away at Machu Pichu (and Agues Calientes). The lobby area is very impressive - a colonial style 3 or 4 tiered balcony surrounded internal courtyard. Our room was abolsutely fine. I've read reviews about people complaining about the noise, but we didn't suffer from this. It's a... More

The hotel was a ten minute walk from the center of the tourist area - I love to walk but with the altitude I'd say this was at the limit of how far I'd want to be from that area. The room was clean and they had free coca tea at all times and a very average buffet breakfast available.... More
