We are so happy we decided to stay at the Hostal Pension Alemana. The location was a pleasant 8-10 min walk to the Plaza de Armas. The Hostal is in a nice out of the way location, which shouldn't pose too many troubles if you have already acclimatised to the altitude otherwise it may be worth getting a taxi.
