The pension had basic rooms that were a good size and clean. We were able to get the room above the reception, tho smaller than other rooms in the pension, it had a communal living room with a computer in front, which we basically had to ourselves, allowing my friend and I to have that extra space and flexibility. Our... More

Stayed two separate nights prior to and after Inca Trail. Great hot shower!! Free Pisco sours welcome drinks that unfortunately we didn’t get to use. Breakfast at Siete&Siete café was excellent (good variety of hot and cold choices) but brown bag to go needs improvement (if you have to miss the full breakfast for early departure for trekking or so).... We booked for 3 nights following a volunteer project in Manu and ended up staying for a further 3. Difficult to speak too highly of this place: both rooms we occupied were spacious and clean and equpped with heaters (important for Cusco), staff are very friendly, helpful and on hand all the time, breakfast in the co-located cafe 7+7 was... We arrived at the Pension Alemana after our Machu Picchu adventure for a stay of 3 nights. The property is beautiful and has a nice, quiet location. Unfortunately, upon arrival part of our group had a serious dose of food poisoning as a result of a bad meal in Aguas Calientes. Fortunately, though, the nice folks at the Pension Alemana... More

Pension Alemana was a wonderful place to stay. It was located up a hill from the Square , but it was definitely worth the panting walk up from there. The view from the restaurant "Siete y siete" (or something like that) was amazing. Breakfast was included, and it wasn't the typical bread and butter kind. It was a buffet that... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. They were able to help us with many situations and travel arrangements promptly and as if we were their only guests. Our prearranged transportation from the train station that was 2 hours away was late. We called them and they contacted the driver who assured us he was close but stuck in... More

This is a very nice hostal with a great back yard and nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The Wifi is working great indoors and outside as well. One thing to keep in mind is the location which is 10 minutes from plaza which is all fine if you want to get some quite time in the night.... More

Pension Alemana is easy to miss; tucked away on a small side street, not far from Cuzco's Plaza de Armas, the exterior blends in with the residential buildings surrounding it. Once inside, however, you are transported to an old-world urban retreat. Tile, dark woods, and Peruvian artwork adorn the common spaces whislt the maze of VERY CLEAN rooms are located... More

Stayed for two nights at this lovely hotel on the hill overlooking cusco. Great location for a short walk downhill into the plaza del armas. Staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to make our trip excellent! There is a small restaurant with great prices! Ask for a room with a view of the city! Only downside is having... More
