Hotel is located in the heart of the Historic downtown Cusco, and everything is walking distance. Hotel rooms are Ok ,bot what was important for me, bed sheets and bathroom towels fresh and clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful I felt like at home :-). I recommend it! John V

We stayed here 7 nights, 3 before Machu Picchu, and 4 after. We loved the food, and the rooftop views. The ladies were so nice and understanding of our obvious language barrier. My girlfriend and I highly recommend it! Also, it's right in the center of town, so be smart about which room you pick, or you'll hear the busy... More

When our trip started we had a lot of things that we needed to change: our rail ticket timings, we needed to buy our MP entrance and bus tickets & even we needed to cancel one night at this hotel. Rita was helpful for each one of these items. She arranged a taxi for us to go to the Peru... More

From picking us up at the airport to our final goodbye hugs, our experience was extremely pleasant. The staff (Alicia, Eleana and Rita) was not only delightful, but helpful. We had some mishaps with the airline, for example, and they guided us to the right people. Also with money exchanges, tickets for Machu Picchu, getting cabs, etc. The location was... More

I wouldn't say it was the best place I've ever stayed but it was certainly good value, good location, friendly staff. We had a quiet internal room. Towels and bedding a bit shoddy but all clean. Small double bed but comfy. Breakfast not great. Stale bread and jam and 1 egg scrambled, but we ate it anyway....got charged $10 at... More

We enjoyed the location which was really convenient and easily walkable to sights. The staff was helpful and responsive, and the breakfast was good (fresh OJ was amazing!). Staff was really helpful in finding cabs for cheap! We stayed there twice, first time in an interior room without windows which was small but cozy and quiet. Second time we had... More

We stayed with a group here just for one night while we were traveling through. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. It was a decent stay for the price-the one real complaint I had was just the location. I have been to Cusco several times and never had a problem, however the market is right accross the street and... More

My friend and I stayed in Rey Antares for 3 nights in July 2013. They were excellent when it came to helping us. They allowed us to check in early because we arrived to Cuzco at 5AM. They also held our luggage while we did a 4 day trek to Machu Picchu. However, this is not a fancy hotel; it's... More

When we told the receptionist that we were on our honeymoon she changed us to a large triple room for the same price which was very nice of her. The room was spacious and overlooking the street. The bathroom was fine with a proper hot shower and generally it was comfortable for the price. Breakfast was the usual but at... More

Travelled with a group and family! Located directly across from a market and on the corner of a busy street! The location is NOT very SAFE. There are ALOT of pick pockets in this area so be careful. (A friend of mine got his passport stolen a couple years ago). A few of my friends on different occasions caught people... More
