Very friendly staff... Note... I am pretty low maintenance. Was very happy. 3 of us got a room and it was about $15 US per night each. The room was 4/5 clean.. the heavy blankets can only be so clean... Laundry was 6 soles a Kilo.. very nice. Free wi-fi and a nice roof to chill out on./ It had... More

My wife and I stayed four nights here and we liked it. Its location, just a small stroll to the main plaza (5 min) was handy and we liked the clean rooms and the professional way it is run. We got free WiFi and hot water when we needed it but you have to let the hot water run for... More

The hotel was pretty gross - torn and stained carpet, stained bedding, dirty furniture, and dirt marks all over the walls of my room. Also, I saw the maid cleaning the bathroom with water from the toilet bowl! My room was directly off the lobby..and there was a hole in the door large enough to see through to the lobby.... More

Hotel is very conveniently located close to the historical center of the Cuzco (in working distance). Close to the hotel is the local market, where you may see very interestingly dressed people in the traditional local clothes. The room was clean. One only problem was that the shower didn't wok properly, but hotel provided us with other room to take... More

The hotel is in the heart of the city. It is minutes away from main square "De Armas", bazaar and shops. The rooms are OK. Staff is really great. They are very helpful and friendly. Cusco is a great city and this hotel is a good choice to feel the city.

While staying at Antares we were within easy walking distance to the main squares and a giant market. The showers were hot, the rooms were clean, and we had excellent service from the front desk staff. Staff let us store our things while we completed the 4 day Machu Pichu trek and let us take a shower upon our return... More

We stayed this hotel before and after going to Machu Pucchu in July, 2014. It is located in front of a big mercado and on a very busy street. There were a lot of commotions outside but once we entered the hotel we felt safe and peaceful. Hotel stuff were nice and kept our bags while we were in Machu... More

This place was dirty and not at all like the photos we received. Fortunately our travel assistant got us switched. The location isn't bad but it is filthy and service was horrible. Not sure where the other reviewers were staying but it was not in this hotel.

The truth is that is not far from the main plaza and is located across the street from a big mercado, but....as soon as you step out of the hotel, it smells really bad since during the day there is a street market in the sidewalks with a lot of produce and the hygiene is not good at all. The... More
