If I could give this place more than 5, I would. We spent two nights in this very sweet charming hotel that is located about 10 minutes outside of Cusco center. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Most importantly, the family that runs this place went above and beyond to make our... More

We stayed at The Garden House for two nights before an Inca Trail hike and again for one night after. Our suite, Ceci and her staff, and the hotel environment all were warm, inviting and relaxing. The included breakfast was balanced, filling, tasty and safe. Ceci and her staff were extremely accommodating. For example, she offered to store our luggage... More

I stayed here for my birthday as a suprise present and it was fantastic. Ceci and her team were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Ceci was also very happy to make suggestions of things we could do in cusco, which was very helpful since it was our first time. It's a little way... More

Staying at the Garden House was like coming home! Cecil was the most wonderful, welcoming host who made us feel like a part of her family. The accommodation itself is like a little oasis a short taxi ride from the centre of Cusco and the breakfasts were delicious! I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Cusco. I... More

We stayed at The garden House for 7 nights all up and just had the most amazing time! Ceci made us feel completely at home and was always accommodating to our busy schedule - packing us take away breakfasts when we has to leave early for tours, washing clothes for us out of hours, getting up at 3am to say... I stay in hotels, airbnb, and vrbo places in many places. The service at Garden House is the absolute best. The accommodations for two or more families traveling together is ideal. Lots of extra space and wonderful rooms. It was lovely in every way. No worries. No regrets. Would stay again. Sure hope to stay again.

Ceci has figured it out--everything travelers need... We were most impressed with her attention to detail, specifically when she handed us the house cell phone to take along with us during our many one day excursions. And we could use it to call her any time, which helped when we needed a taxi or directions to restaurants. Breakfast was great... More

Wow! The owners Doris and Ceci were extraordinarily sweet, charming and caring but at the same time very efficient to ensure that our holiday went exactly to plan. They looked after us so well during our stay and even accompanied me to their family dentist when I had toothache. I have never experienced anything like that kind of care from... More

I can not say enough great things about this home/hotel! It was clean, cost effective and one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Ceci and Doris were wonderful hosts and go out of their way to ensure your stay is superior and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

One of the best "house hotels" in the world we've stayed in. It's a beautiful home surrounded by gorgeous gardens a 10 min taxi ride from city (approx US$3.50). The owners, Doris and Ceci Sanchez provide a fantastic experience and breakfast. The bedding is excellent and comfortable and we loved it. They speak impeccable English and offer excellent advice on... More
