We just spent two days in Cuzco. Our stay at the Piccola Locanda started with a view from their terrace that is breathtaking. The owner and the staff were kind and helpful in suggesting trips arpund town. The walks from the place, either downhill to town or uphill to the inka ruins of Sacsayhuaman are beautiful.

We stayed here for two nights prior to doing the Inca Trail and one night after. The staff were very accommodating as we arrived at 5:00am after a night bus ride from Puno and allowed us to check in to our room. The breakfast was great, especially the cookies. The view of Cusco when you walk out the front door... More

Not our first time at the piccola locanda and certainly not our last one. Being in cusco means to us going this hostel. Is not just the gorgeous view, how well located it is, or even the yummiest breakfast. They do their bet for you. We stayed a couple of nights and then left for a few days to the... More

Stayed here for five days in January. It's more like an inn than a hostel -- claimed to be a converted family's home by one of their own, some of the spaces are great. Piccola was happy to arrange a very reasonable taxi pickup from the airport, which was simply added to our bill at check out. They offer laundry... More

We spent 3 nights at Piccola Locanda at the end of December. It is nice and clean and the beds have plenty of blankets to keep you warm at night. You can even ask for a little electric heater if it's cold. But the place is lacking something. I have read in other reviews that the atmosphere in the hotel... More

Charming little hotel (and former family home) with cosy rooms, great views from the rooftop terrace and a yummy little Italian restaurant attached. The location is great for the view, but climbing the stairs every day when still acclimatising to above 3.000m wasn't easy. Nevertheless, we highly recommend staying at Piccola Locanda. They even moved our big backpacks from one... More

My husband and I really loved our 2-night stay at PL while in Cusco a few weeks ago. It has beautiful decor and finishes. We had a shared bath the first night and a room with a wonderful view of the city. I wasn't too thrilled at first about having a shared bath but found them all to be impeccable... More

We spend 4 nights in this good located hotel, close to Plaza de Armas. Nice little garden in the middle. From our room we had a view over the city and from the rooftop terrace the view was even more amazing. It is a nice quiet hotel with good breakfast. We enjoyed our stay before and after machu picchu!

what a nice hotel, the rooms so nice and unique, felt so comforable and like at home immediately, lovely roof terrace to rest, perfect location, just some minutes to the palza but the same time quiet, you can eat at their little restaurant that is included in the hotel and the food is really good, do not miss it!!

Great location with an amazing rooftop terrace with a view over Cusco. Nice cosy family hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Free wi-fi,good laundry service, hot water and possibility to get extra heater when it's cold. It's a bit of a walk to go up and down the stairs ( especially on the 1st day), but the view and hotel... More
