Not quiet as good as we expected, Our private room was small compared to several previous places, with hard beds. Band and other music noise carries up the hill. We certainly felt the altitude affect after walking up the steps from the plaza. Great staff, lovely breakfast room and outside area for sitting to chat.Gracious owners. more

Piccola Locanda is a wonderful guest house/hotel. It offers free breakfast in its charming internet cafe - Ubuntu. The rooms are clean and are well decorated with arts, crafts and photos produced locally. Best rooming experience I had in Peru. Wonderful views of Cusco and just removed from the noisy bars on the square. The only caveat: the stairs (Calle... more

Piccola Locanda is excellent. If you can get over all the stairs you have climb, you get quiet, spotless accomodations; helpful, friendly staff, excellent amenities including breakfast and free internet; for a very low price. My favorite employee, Daniel, when above and beyond for me several times, including helping to rearrange my flights when I couldn't get anyone at TACA... more

An almost perfect place to stay in Cusco. Friendly, well kept, quiet. When we got back from a trip through the Sacred Valley, we felt like we came home. (It is fair to note, though, that our favorite employee, Ines, who spoke perfect English, is not longer working there.) No two rooms are identical. Our room, Camila, was really pleasant, simply... more

My cousin and I stayed here for 4 nights late Sept and highly recommend it. Comfy room with plenty of blankets, hot shower, great breakfast included and a couple of places to sit and read or just relax. Service was friendly, helpful and all questions were responded to quickly. About 10 mins walk down to plaza, longer getting back up... more

As few things: We stayed in two of the rooms on separate nights. Both were large and spacious with ample sheets and blankets for chilly nights. Hot water was plentiful and there are no specified times to wash. The view from one room looked out over the main plaza. Location was challenging since it was it requires several flights of... more

I chose Piccola Locanda based on several reviews I read before putting my feet on road. I don't want to extend myself once every good review noted here summarizes in a good way what you can expect and what you will find there. Cozy rooms, nice front desk, cleanliness, good breakfast and a stupendous view of the city from the... more

There were a lot of stairs to climb, but totally worth it. This hostel was clean and very friendly and the food was great. The staff was extremely knowledgable and really helped us plan our time in Cusco. They went the extra mile every time we asked something. They even provided us with a bag breakfast for the day we... more

My friend and I stayed at the Piccola prior to and after heading to the Sacred Valley and loved it.. on return, we thought it was like coming home. We liked the fact is was slighyl out of town as it is was much quieter compared to hotels nearer the plaza. We stayed in 1 of the smaller rooms (overlooking... more

We stayed here in the Cecelia room for 4 nights, and overall it was a wonderful place. The room was small but clean and nicely-decorated. Our room had its own bathroom, but the bathrooms for the rooms that didn’t were nice, private, and there were more than enough of them available all the time. The only downside to the room... more
