Our experience in Cusco was magical, beginning with the city, the people and the surroundings. Casa Andina Private Collection was a great experience. Located in an old big spanish house, nice clean rooms, nice furniture and environment, but most of all, the bilingual and very professional staff made us feel very comfortable at the hotel. Especially Fredy Poccori at the... More

Let me start by saying that Cusco is a magical city in and of itself. Combining the Spanish rubric with the mind-bending Inca arquitecture at its most important sites, the rich history that enveloped the Inca Empire, and the folklore of its people, Cusco is a must see destination. Add to that list, Casa Andina Private Collection - true piece... More

This was the second Casa Andina Private Collection we stayed in; the first was in Miraflores, and the external contrast couldn't have been greater. Miraflores is a concrete block; Cusco is a converted colonial building with several courtyards, all low rise. This is much more picturesque, although memorising the twists and turns to your room through the various courtyards takes... More

The outside and lobby are really nice and the rooms left a lot to be desired. They were small and dark And dated. the rooms were loud. I would stay somewhere else next time.

Dear Guest, We honestly regret we could not meet your expectations on this stay. As we have mentioned before, improvements on lighting and sound proofing are scheduled for this year. However, the size of the rooms and view depend on the architecture of this colonial mansion of the 18th century. We sincerely hope to have a second opportunity to serve... More

Its a nice looking old colonial place, with rooms around several big courtyards linked by small passageways. The staff are attentive and friendly and you certainly feel secure (but Cusco seems is a safe place anyway). The location is ok but there are lots of hotels in and around the plaza de armas and the san blas district that are... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience on Trip Advisor´s website. As you probably know, the hotel is an old colonial house of the 18th century that has been remodeled for guest accommodation. It is true that most of our rooms do not have external windows or street view. However, improvements on ilumination and sound proof are definitely scheduled... More

Because of my good experience with Casa Andina Private Miraflores, I moved from Koricancha to Private Collection. Bed and pillows are comfortable as always however, windows are towards the passage way. Breakfast is not as impressive as the Miraflores one. Ok but below my expectation because of the benchmark with Miraflores :)

Dear Guest, We are glad to know you enjoyed your experience at our hotel in Cusco. We should mention that breakfast buffet at all the hotels of our the Private Collection brand is the same according to our standards. However, we respect your honest opinion and appreciate the time you set aside to share your impressions on Trip Advisor´s website.... More

The Private Collection hotels are the top end of the Casa Andina chain. This one is built inside a huge colonial house with 3 courtyards. Quaint but nicely appointed. Located 3 blocks from Plaza de Armas, away from the chaos, but within easy reach. Restaurants nearby. Good breakfast buffet included with room. Good service; desk quickly arrange a taxi for... More

Request quiet room! Stone walk ways and groups depart at 4 AM and pull their bags over the stone walk ways. The only issue, but major. We had three different rooms and all were very nice, but one was on ground floor near the entrance where everyone went by, room 101, which was not acceptable. Our group had noise complaints.... Dear Guest, We cannot be more thankful to you for having brought to our attention the areas of opportunity you kindly detailed. Only our guest´s valuable feedback helps us know we might be failing on meeting their service expectations. We should mention that before the end of the year, some of the rooms facing the stone walk corridors will have... More

We made 2 visits to the Cusco Casa Andina Private Collection hotel - 14 & 15th September and 19 & 20th September 2011. On the first occasion we stayed in a suite and on the second visit we had a superior room. Both rooms were very well appointed, had comfortable beds, bathrooms with heated floors and were spotlessly clean. The... More
