People may argue about stars but they are relative to a location and country. There is no true global star rating and this place is a 4 star hotel relative to Peru as far as I'm concerned. The location is good, rooms are clean and small-ish with nice high ceilings. As others have stated there are no windows to the... More

This hotel has a couple of great things going for it. It's charming and the shared spaces- the outdoor courtyard, bar, etc. are wonderful. Also, the restaurant staff is incredible- super friendly and very helpful. Potato soup is delicious! This hotel rooms however are dark, dingy and dusty. Yes, they are clean for the most part, but definately not deserving... More

Me and my friends gone to Alma, the hotel restaurant. We drank Peruvian wine that was great. The food is VERY good and tasty. Our waiter was Ismael, he is such a nice guy!! In fact this review is only to say that our waiter was THE BEST.

We loved this hotel but I wasn't happy our room was so small with little natural light and too few lamps. Dark indeed, but very cozy. Overall I was very pleased. I was traveling with my son after his winter quarter study abroad thru the UW in Quito. We LOVED the staff, the location, the food was excellent, the fireplace... More

We stayed 2 nights at thies hotel, one before we went to MP and one after. On the second stay we were upgraded to a very nice suite. Hotel is nicely appointed, the bar is kind of small but the restaurant was good - had some great alpaca there. The room was nice, as others have mentioned it can be... More

I stayed 4 nights at the Casa Andina Private Collection hotel. Other than a city-wide blackout, it was a peaceful stay. Room was clean and quiet. Wi-fi connection worked good enough to enable me to upload dozens of photos and short videos to the cloud so family and friends could view them. And I was able to Skype as well... More

It's a nice hotel, with a typical colonial decor. Some of the review say "not a luxury hotel" and not a " 5 star hotel"..guys I think you're travel agent gave you bad information, because this hotel doesn't pretend to be more than a 4 star hotel ;) So I say, it's a very good 4 star hotel! Remember that... More

Built in 1599, portions of the building exude old world charm. Finding your room can be a challenge however and finding one with a window to other than a hallway may be more difficult. Food is well prepared ( except for the raw bacon at breakfast ) and Service was excellent. Potato Soup is wonderful and the Pizza is not... More

I recently stayed for several nights at the hotel. The hotel was presented to us as a luxury property by my travel agent. It is not. It is a three-star hotel at best. On a positive side: the hotel is in a historical building with two indoor courtyards and it is about 10-15 minute brisk walk from the main square.The... More

Dear Guest, We very much regret we could not meet your expectations on this opportunity. We should mention that our Private Collection hotels do not belong to a luxury hotel brand. We stayed at this hotel in the middle of Cuzco twice, for two nights before our visit to the Sacred Valley and for one afterwards. We enjoyed this hotel very much. When we returned after a three day absence our left luggage had already been placed in our room. The hotel has a very complicated layout with many internal courtyards... More
