I would rate this hotel as 3 stars. I think this originally was a mansion from the 1800's and the architecture is interesting. There are no elevators in this hotel but ramps and many stairs. It's quite charming. We chose a Suite with a king bed. The room was dark and warm. The only windows we had opened to a... More

We stayed on Casa Andina for two nights since we decided to spend some time in Cuzco before leaving to Machu Picchu. We were pleasant surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Excellent location, everything was in walking distance and the price was really fair. The restaurant is amazing. Breakfast... More

Great location. 5 stars except I'd deduct for the fact the hotel is in disrepair. In our room, the bathroom had a leak, therefore, there was water on the bathroom floor. And then a deduction for service. The Internet was sketchy and no one seemed to be working on it. Why a 5 star-- great breakfast and the rooms were comfortable.

Very nice 3 star hotel; good breakfast and service. Mikjail was particularly helpful. Sound proofing was not very good. Had a store with reasonable prices. The location was excellent and there are lovely out door patios to enjoy.

Magnificent old Spanish Colonial building with lots of character. We stayed twice. Our first room faced central courtyard on ground floor was easily accessible & very quiet. Our second room was up a floor and accessible only by stairs. This room/suite was huge & faced noisy side street. Wooden shutters & double glazing reduced noise to an aceptable level. Breakfast... Our Roadscholar group enjoyed 2 nights here, including a festive New Years Eve dinner. It's like stepping back in time to a colonial Spanish version of Downton Abbey, complete with uniformed staff and priceless furnishings. Además, they make a mean pisco sour!

As a traveler, you ultimately have the choice to select the type of lodging. I sometimes book my hotel prior my arrival, there are other times where I simply dont do this, this was one of those times...and I simply don't regret it...phenomenal service, great decor, good food and clean rooms.

I've lived in South America for 10 years and I have traveled throughout. It's always good to find a great hotel. Clean, friendly, very beautiful. Fine attention and guest service. Dining is also very good. The staff speaks very good English. Our group of 9 persons was attended very well. Good job, my friends!

Stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions (before and after Machu Picchu tour). I also stayed for one night at the Novotel, (my review for the Novotel also compares these two hotels). Close to the Plaza de Armas, but not so close that it's noisy. Staff spoke slightly less English than the Novotel, but I speak Spanish so that... More

I have travelled a lot and after staying in a few Four Star Hotels in the Sacred Valley and Cusco and checking in to this one I was very dissapointed. The bell boy was pretending to be the consierge and receptionist and seemed extremely cocky. I reserved a room for a couple and clearly stated i wanted a quiet room.... More
