I escorted a group of high school students on a Spanish Immersion trip to Peru and we spent 3 nights here. The location is safe and within easy walking distance of the historic district, market and central Cusco. This is not a hostel in the traditional sense but more like a small economy hotel. Rooms were certainly adequate as a... More

This hostel was very nice. We stayed here for 5 nights. Each room can have 2-4 beds with their own private baths. There is always hot water in the shower. Comfortable and nice rooms. Breakfast every morning is included which consists if coffee, tea, eggs, fresh fruit and bread. Breakfast starts early at 530am. The WiFi can be in and... More

There are a couple great things about this Hostel. My husband and i stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days before we headed out to the Inca Trail. The rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable, clean, and the shower was great. The food was simple but enough and delicious, and they have endless pots of coffee and coca tea!! They... More

This hotel, which is more a hotel than a hostel, has a good location in Cusco. The rooms are clean, breakfast is good (there's an excellent fruit salad!) and the staff is very helpful. I stayed there three nights with a group and it was great. Their laundry service is good and economical compared to other places.

This is more a hotel than a hostel, the rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was simple but good for starting a day of sightseeing. The coffee was very strong, something that I appreciate when traveling. The location was very close to the main square, definitely go back again!

This Hostal is one of the highest standards place I've ever stayed in this category. It's located in the artist's neighborhood, hidden in one of the tiny & romantic roads up on a hill, two blocks away from Cusco's main square. We even had a free pickup from the airport. The rooms and the building itself is reflecting a Colonial... More

We were recommended to stay here by the company we are doing our Inca Trail with. Fantastic recommendation! Our private room was more like a hotel room, certainly not typical hostel standards. Great location out of the hustle and bustle but within close walking distance to the main square of Cusco. In addition our favourite restaurant that we discovered in... More

We stayed for 2 nights after doing our classic inca trail. It is a beautiful hotel with amazing rooms and beautiful gardens. The breakfast and the service was decent but although it was quiet expensive, 60 dollars for a double room, ( i always speak for peru prices ) we didn't have wi fi in our room, although it was... Amazing views, comfortable rooms and extremely helpful staff. We stayed here on and off during our 9 day trip in Peru and from day one we're greeted by friendly staff who helped us with everything we needed during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cusco.

My family of four (mom, dad, 13-year-old and six-year-old) just stayed at the Amaru II as a launching and landing point for our high Andes trek with Amazonas Explorer. We stayed there a total of 5 nights and felt very comfortable and at home. The neighborhood was in a quiet section of San Blas. Breakfast was reliably good. The staff... More
